2-Star Hotels in Koh Phangan District

We stayed for 3 nights, which felt like more than enough time before heading to Koh Tao. We had plenty of time to visit the viewpoint and take photos everywhere without the crowds of day-trippers. It truly felt like we were on a deserted island! The room had everything we needed: toiletries, hot water, a fridge, a kettle, tea, and coffee. Housekeeping was daily. Breakfast was included, even though it wasn't mentioned in the booking. For breakfast, they bring you a sheet where you mark what you'd like them to prepare (the menu is consistent, but you can choose how your eggs are cooked and your coffee – the coffee seemed to be instant). There are two restaurants on the island: one on the hotel premises where breakfast is served, offering European cuisine. The other is further down, near the 'spit,' and serves Thai food with more reasonable prices; day-trippers often ate there. Prices are higher than on Koh Tao for obvious reasons, as there are no shops. However, there's a free daily shuttle to Koh Tao and back, which is convenient for longer stays. For example, a 0.33L beer on the island costs 120 baht, a mango shake is 150 baht, and dishes start from 300+ baht.

Nos alojamos en la suite Luna de miel y fue un acierto, una especie de cabaña preciosa con vistas al mar y la piscina infinita del hotel. La atención del personal fue fantástica. La habitación muy bonita, con ventanales hacia el mar y una terraza perfecta para tomar algo y ver el atardecer. Lo recomiendo totalmente, nos ha encantado.

Loved the hotel! They let me check in much earlier than the stated time without any issues. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, and housekeeping was available on demand. They refilled the water bottles every day. The room had AC, a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, cups, and glasses. The hot water pressure was good, despite having an instantaneous water heater. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained. There's a nice common area by the pool with sun loungers and tables. There are cafes and shops nearby. You can walk to the pier in 15-20 minutes, or get there in about 8 minutes on a moped.

Honestly best hostel in Koh Tao. Staff are fantastic there’s lots of hang out space and parking. The rooms are consistently spotless. Really made my trip. Would recommend no other hostel on island compared. I stayed in another before hand and it cost more for way less. They have a bar too with good prices.

The location was great! The staff was fine, not extra attentive and friendly but would still be helpful if asked. The water pressure wasn’t the best in the shower but still duable. I loved my room with the view of the forest from my balcony. Overall, good stay!

I stayed at Limelight Village for 2 weeks in February and loved it so much, I came back for 3 weeks in March! There are 8 detached units, which are very private, with very comfortable beds, soft sheets, a terrace and I little area out the back which is great for drying as it gets so hot! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and clean the rooms very well and always with a smile! Breakfast was good with a selection of cooked and cold options, served with juice and a hot drink. The accommodation is directly on a stunning beach and the pool as a fabulous optional extra! I highly recommend this place to stay and am already booking next year! It was ok size for 4 people. Overall comfortable but lack of few details that would have make our stay more enjoyable. There was no: - soap holder - so soap stay on counter being wet - No hand towel or other towel size than bath towel - no hook to hang towel. - No place to dry clothes after the beach. No drying rack on balcony, no clothes line, no nothing - Don't count on having hot water- you can either have hot water or pressure, not both... Overall - the walls of the hotel are so thin, you can hear your neighbors sings, talk, shower, etc... Since people party a lot, they come back late to their room, so with 2 small children, it was very bad as they kept waking up in the middle of the night...Our neighbors were drunk and really noisy...we did not have luck on this one. Will not come back with kids for sure, but maybe with adults only.

Nice place to stay, it is on the more calmer part of the beach. The restaurant part could do more improvements, like basic English for staff and breakfast is definitely not value for money. You can find much better ones around. The room is spacious and clean every day. We enjoyed the pool as well.

В целом неплохо, но нас встретила очень недовольная женщина, которая даже не знала что кто-то будет заселяться и на какое время. Она сказала нам подождать 20 минут э, пока она помоет пол у нас в бунгало. Этот момент мне смутил, такое ощущение что в этом месте вообще никто никого не ждёт и не готовится перед заселением. Если говорить в общем то для первого раза на Пхангане неплохо, но за такие деньги можно найти что-то и получше

Location is really good, right on the beach and right in town. Would recommend getting a bike here as you can park directly in front of your little bungalow. The bungalows are quiet but very small, the bathroom is also tiny and has a little shower right next to the toilet. The locks on the doors are also weird. I do think it’s slightly overpriced but overall we had a nice stay here.
