2-Star Hotels in Koh Phangan District

We stayed for 3 nights, which felt like more than enough time before heading to Koh Tao. We had plenty of time to visit the viewpoint and take photos everywhere without the crowds of day-trippers. It truly felt like we were on a deserted island! The room had everything we needed: toiletries, hot water, a fridge, a kettle, tea, and coffee. Housekeeping was daily. Breakfast was included, even though it wasn't mentioned in the booking. For breakfast, they bring you a sheet where you mark what you'd like them to prepare (the menu is consistent, but you can choose how your eggs are cooked and your coffee – the coffee seemed to be instant). There are two restaurants on the island: one on the hotel premises where breakfast is served, offering European cuisine. The other is further down, near the 'spit,' and serves Thai food with more reasonable prices; day-trippers often ate there. Prices are higher than on Koh Tao for obvious reasons, as there are no shops. However, there's a free daily shuttle to Koh Tao and back, which is convenient for longer stays. For example, a 0.33L beer on the island costs 120 baht, a mango shake is 150 baht, and dishes start from 300+ baht.

Loved the hotel! They let me check in much earlier than the stated time without any issues. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, and housekeeping was available on demand. They refilled the water bottles every day. The room had AC, a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, cups, and glasses. The hot water pressure was good, despite having an instantaneous water heater. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained. There's a nice common area by the pool with sun loungers and tables. There are cafes and shops nearby. You can walk to the pier in 15-20 minutes, or get there in about 8 minutes on a moped.

Very clean and quiet place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Una maravilla de hotel, a pocos pasos de la preciosa playa de Sairee Beach. Nos alojamos en la suite Luna de miel y fue un acierto, una especie de cabaña preciosa con vistas al mar y la piscina infinita del hotel. La atención del personal fue fantástica. La habitación muy bonita, con ventanales hacia el mar y una terraza perfecta para tomar algo y ver el atardecer. Lo recomiendo totalmente, nos ha encantado.

I stayed at Limelight Village for 2 weeks in February and loved it so much, I came back for 3 weeks in March! There are 8 detached units, which are very private, with very comfortable beds, soft sheets, a terrace and I little area out the back which is great for drying as it gets so hot! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and clean the rooms very well and always with a smile! Breakfast was good with a selection of cooked and cold options, served with juice and a hot drink. The accommodation is directly on a stunning beach and the pool as a fabulous optional extra! I highly recommend this place to stay and am already booking next year! Great choise for all aspects! It is located close to all activities in Sairee beach, all best restaurants and daily goods saling shops, but it is quiet, no disturbance from parties or walking street noise. Hotel located in quite corner. Update: staff (front desk and housekeepers) speaks English as well (Trip.com description mentioned only Thai and Sweden as spoken languages). Room was clean and convinient with 24 hours hot water nd electricity supply. Owner allowed us to check out later, but did not charge anything, special thanks for that. If we will come back to Koh Tao, definately this hotel will be our primary choice.

Nice place to stay, it is on the more calmer part of the beach. The restaurant part could do more improvements, like basic English for staff and breakfast is definitely not value for money. You can find much better ones around. The room is spacious and clean every day. We enjoyed the pool as well.

В целом неплохо, но нас встретила очень недовольная женщина, которая даже не знала что кто-то будет заселяться и на какое время. Она сказала нам подождать 20 минут э, пока она помоет пол у нас в бунгало. Этот момент мне смутил, такое ощущение что в этом месте вообще никто никого не ждёт и не готовится перед заселением. Если говорить в общем то для первого раза на Пхангане неплохо, но за такие деньги можно найти что-то и получше

Hotel was very clean and staff were brilliant, very helpful and close by to everything you need, the pool is also very good.

The staffs are lovely. We had to stay again because we missed the boat. She came and hugged us to give us encouragement. The location of the accommodation is good. Personally, I like to meet new people. I got to know many roommates. I will definitely stay here again when I come back.
