Mesmerizing hotel! As soon as we stepped inside, we immediately felt so relaxed. Everything in this hotel contributes to giving it a very peaceful and quiet atmosphere, from the super friendly and accommodating staff to the slow-paced breakfast and the sea view from the bedroom. This is a new hotel and the equipment is very modern and elegant (bathroom, toilet, walls) and the bedding is extremely comfortable, including super pajamas! The breakfast is served at 7:30am or 8:30am with Japanese and Western options available. They also offer dinner options with a few hours' notice. There is a bus stop nearby but it's definitely better to have a car as it seemed difficult to walk around and find beaches/restaurants, though that also makes the place very quiet and relaxing. Excellent value for money, we browsed a lot of options and this might be the best one if you do not want to go for a resort-style hotel.

It's about a 10-minute walk to Ishigaki Port, from where you can take a boat to other outlying islands. There is a pier not far downstairs, where people fish at night, and there is also a fishing gear shop. Anyone who is interested can try it.
