I stayed at Dewi Sri Guesthouse just before it was closed due to the corona craziness and could not have asked for a better place to stay. It's run by Chris and Dewi, an Australian guy and his Indonesian wife and what they have created here in a very short time is nothing short of remarkable. They are supported by Dewi's family who don't speak alot of English but go out of their way to make you feel part of their family. The bedrooms have TV, ac and comfortable beds, the bathrooms are spotless and offer a choice of Indonesian wash tub and western shower, both with hot and cold water. The inside living area is stylish yet casual with comfy sofas terazzo tiled floors, french doors leading to an outdoor terrace and solid timber dining table. There are actually two leafy courtyard areas both with bluetooth speakers and good wifi throughout. And the best news is they are building a swimming pool. This guesthouse is conveniently close to the Immigration Office and a street food strip that offers a wide range of Indonesian street food at amazingly cheap prices. For myself, I was just as happy to eat Dewi's aunts home cooked food and think about my next stay with these lovely people, in this delightful environment and the soon to be completed swimming pool.

Really helpful and friendly staff, they went above and beyond!! We didn’t have a hot shower but it was okay as it was hot there anyway so a cold shower cooled us down. The location is okay, you can rent motorbikes from here so this was really convenient and easy. Would stay again and would recommend to other people!

Satisfactory service, good cleanliness. The location is close to the crowd and close to food sellers and everything.

It's a low-budget hotel. But it was almost flawless. It was relatively clean (a few stains on the wall). Bedding was clean, air conditioning worked great, hot water, plenty of space to unpack things, private parking and the staff was very nice and helpful. Only downsides: - The mattress was dead! You rolled to the middle and had back pain the next morning - Dirty water came out of the tap every now and then. Otherwise we were very satisfied. Thank you for the stay.

Я очень удачно заехал именно в этот гостевой дом. Там я чувствовал себя как дома. Смотритель гостевого дома ( прошу прощения имени я так и не запомнил) и ночной сторож были очень добры и приветливы. Так как они всю свою жизнь прожили на этом острове , то очень многое знают о нём и могут без проблем вам подсказать то что вас интересует. С Иваном (ночной сторож, брутальный мужик) мы провели не один вечер за рисовым вином , (по русски брага) общаясь друг с другом через переводчик мы многим поделились друг с другом , это на редкость хороший опыт. Там мне никогда не было скучно. Если буду когда нибудь в тех краях обязательно приеду к ним ещё. Уж очень понравились мне эти люди

A pleasant stay, near Epicentrum Mall very convenient to get around. The room is nice and spacious with industrial interior design look. Plus points for the huge windows and prayer mat provided.

Overall I had a pleasant stay there after they changed my room to one on the 1st floor. My room on the ground floor was extremely humid and smelled kinda moldy. I heard from other guests this is also the case in other rooms on the ground floor. In my new room the bed was comfy, the bathroom was okay and the ac was working properly. I wouldn't book the breakfast since it's not really a fulfilling meal. The staff is friendly even though they don't speak english, but with the help of a translator you'll be able to get the information you want to them.
