2-Star Hotels in Nice

I dont like the smell of my capsule bed, bed #4 Its my first time to share room while travelling. I would say its nice, I eavesdrop to people talking (very entertaining, I just smile when I hear something funny) Clean Bathroom, but the bedding has a smell I personally dont like. And I dont encounter people that much even we are in just one room.

Отдельное спасибо хочется выразить владельцу - очень солнечный и приветливый человек, который всегда готов помочь и поддержать диалог. Нет большей радости, чем радость человеческого общения - так я люблю говорить и так это было здесь. Наш отдых в Ницце не был бы и в половину так прекрасен без этого чудесного отеля с панорамными видами и чудесными людьми. Отель достаточно удален от центра, но мы везде ходили пешком (около часа пешком до старого города и набережной). Есть автобусы и такси, если для вас такие расстояния пешком не нормальны. В номере есть все необходимое для жизни - кондиционер, полотенца, мыло, гель для душа-шампунь, фен, стаканы для воды (но тапочки/халаты берите свои). Если планируете купаться, то берите свои полотенца, так как полотенца из отеля брать нельзя. Завтрак замечательный, мы обычно брали один на двоих и покупали что-то в магазине или булочной с вечера (потому что хотелось чего-то конкретного). В завтраке можно попросить что-то заменить (например, я вместо сока просила кофе, так как не пью сок и тд.). Можно попросить чайник, чтобы пить чай в номере. Какое удовольствие сидеть на террасе с панорамным видом и наслаждаться завтраком или ужином! Соседи иногда бывают шумными, но это не вина отеля, а вопрос воспитанность постояльцев. От отеля в 20ти минутах пешком ЖД станция, откуда можно доехать до Монако и других близлежащих местечек Спасибо за прекрасный отдых! Обязательно вернёмся, если ещё будем в Ницце.

It's very close to the station, and the security is okay. There are many Asian restaurants nearby. There is no need to worry about robbery at the police station, but you should be careful of being stolen by Arabs and gypsies at the train station. Thefts in Nice train station are extremely high. I don’t know why there are so many Arabs around Nice Train Station...If an Arab tells you that you need to pay an extra euro to pay by credit card, then I just want to cheat you, but there is an Arab rotisserie called Naan next to it, which is worth a try. 11 or 12 euro royale viande assiette. The hotel has air conditioning, hot water and even a kettle, elevator, no disposable slippers but the floor is very clean, no toothbrush, toothpaste, towels, shampoo, shower gel, etc. Opposite is Notre Dame de Nice and downstairs is the commercial area.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel I think is average. I arrived at Nice airport at night and walked from Terminal 1 to the hotel. It took me around 20mins. The next day, I went to Nice Saint-Augustine train station to go to Monaco. I walked around 15mins, which was ok. The last day, I went to Nice city by tram. The tram stop is nearby the hotel, so it was good. If you are a Solo traveler and do not mind walking, it is a not bad choice. The view from the hotel was good too, so I put a picture.

The location is great and the staff are wonderful. I hate the fact that you can hear the noise from the next room, but they always take care of it.

This hostel is conveniently located just 5-10 minutes from Nice-Ville station and is perfect for making trips to nearby cities and towns such as monte-carlo and menton. There are also many food options near the hostel and its is conveniently located near the city centre and also the beach. The locker is spacious and hangers are provided for you as well. Luggage storage before and after check-out is free so that is a big plus. Somethings about the hostel are bothersome such as the triple-deck bed. This triple deck bed is so wobbly that the whole bed shakes at the slightest movement such as turning your body or even just lying down or sitting up. This experience required everyone to have minimum movement throughout the night. The bottom bedframe being slightly curved shows that the bed obviously needs to be attached to the wall for better stability and support. The top bunk of this triple-deck is also not fitted with a nightlight and charger. This means that if you sleep on the top bunk, not only can you not see, you also do not have the convenience of charging your appliances while sleeping. This also means that this third deck is not part of the original bedroom design. The bathroom is a tiny bit mouldy and there is minor drainage smell but it is manageable so long as you keep the door closed. Overall, it is a nice hostel and the convenience to nearby towns, Nice city centre, and old Nice, makes up for the terrible triple-decker bed that honestly just should not exist and also seems like a last minute addition for more profit.

The location is excellent! It's a 10-minute walk to the Old Town, the beach, and the train station. It's clean and not cramped. The bed and pillow are comfortable. The shower is in the room. Right behind the door is our private toilet. With two windows, the room was well-ventilated. There was an extension cord for the outlets, which was enough for everyone. Free luggage storage is a plus. The breakfast is good, although a bit repetitive. There's a great outdoor terrace with umbrellas, offering shade. The Wi-Fi is excellent, and the staff are friendly! As for the downsides, there was no shower gel. If you're staying for just one or two nights, you won't have anything to shower with.

It is an old hotel in the old city. The room is large, the furniture is old but the quality is good, and it is close to the old city train station. Two-star hotels do not provide slippers, drinking water and toiletries, even paper is not provided, and the service is slightly worse.

The room is quite big, the twin room is suitable for our family of three! The location is very good, there is a Michelin restaurant downstairs, 41 euros a set meal is enough for 2 people to eat! Within 10 minutes walk to the beach, through zara/h&m/Lafayette, shopping is very convenient. The only downside is the power outage in the middle of the night...

This place is pretty basic but effective. Room very small (I was in 35). Plug in the washbasin stuck and took about 20min for them to fix it. Bowl under sink to catch drips was there the whole time and was a bit annoying to hear the drip drip during the night. But it’s close to the station in a lovely area and cheap as chips so good with me.
