I didn’t expect hotel bookings to be so popular during the Spring Festival holiday. We arrived at Mugen Youth Hostel at around 10 pm on the third day of the Chinese New Year. Since we were traveling as a family, the male and female combination did not quite meet the requirements of the youth hostel. However, the owner was careful and enthusiastic in contacting a room for us. Unfortunately, the surrounding area was too crowded that night. In the end, he still found a way to make room for us, solving the big problem of accommodation. I give a big thumbs up to that group of enthusiastic young people 👍 Moreover, the accommodation and sanitary environment of the hostel are really quite good, the price is affordable, and the room is clean and tidy. Even a middle-aged aunt like me was surprised. The rooms are divided into male and female rooms, and they are not mixed. A room usually has six beds, two bathrooms, spacious space, and private storage space. There are public entertainment facilities outside, including a book bar, games, billiards, etc. It is really suitable for young backpackers.

The room was incredibly clean, tidy and comfortable. Nicely located between the gaoyi national park and the dongjianghu tourist area. The service was exceptional. The owner drove me 3km to a wonderful place to get some food, helped me plan travel arrangements for the next part of my journey and also offered to drive me to the bus terminal. By far the best service and accommodation I have had in my 2 week tour of China. Highly recommend

This guesthouse is really nice. I love the decor; it's beautifully arranged. The room is spacious and clean, and there's even a small courtyard. The weather right now is perfect for sitting in the courtyard, enjoying the breeze and sipping tea—it's incredibly comfortable. The location is fantastic, right at the entrance to the Dongjiang Lake scenic area, just a short walk away. It's super convenient, and there are many restaurants nearby. Stepping out of the courtyard, you're right by the river. Taking a stroll along the river in the evening and enjoying the night view is incredibly relaxing. The service here is excellent. The owner is a handsome guy who's very patient in answering any questions about sightseeing, and he doesn't just push his own recommendations; he'll suggest other suitable options too. He's a really great person. Standard check-out is at 12 PM, but when we returned from our trip to Xiao Dongjiang, our child had fallen asleep, and he kindly extended our check-out until around 2 PM. There were tangerines and bananas available; I wasn't sure if they were complimentary, but the owner offered some to our child, who said they were very sweet and delicious. All in all, I'm very satisfied and grateful. It was a very pleasant stay!

The toilet facilities are also very good, the toilet is an automatic toilet, very clean! 👍 The stay experience for 2 days and 2 nights is very good! Location: Get up at 5:30 in the morning to buy tickets for Dongjiang Lake. After leaving the hotel, you can enter the scenic spot in less than 5 minutes. After buying the tickets in less than 15 minutes, you will come back. Then the proprietress is very good, if you are lucky, you can upgrade the room for free if you have a room available (we are like this); Later, the key card was also lost when we were playing Dongjiang Lake 😳, but the proprietress also very patiently told us to let us find it again, don't worry about anything 😺; When I went out in the morning, I met the proprietress, and the proprietress would also say hello and say good morning, which made people feel very good! Finally, when we went to the high-speed rail station, the proprietress took the initiative to help us find a carpool, saving time and effort. Overall, it is a very good choice to travel here! I also wish other travelers who come to Dongjiang can also have a pleasant journey. The B&B environment is amazing! It's a good place to travel! The environment is particularly good! This homestay is very comfortable! Backed by the mountains in the villa area! Very quiet and not noisy! The air is so fresh! Moreover, if you go to the West Railway Station, the B&B will help you book a car, which is really amazing. When we left, the owner was also very nice and helped us book a car to Chenzhou West Railway Station. When we first arrived, the owner recommended us a restaurant that the locals go to, and even lent us an electric scooter for us to go around! ! It’s really good! It is also very close to Xiaodong River. You can walk to the scenic area with your ID card and take a bus. And! ! I chose this homestay after reading Trip.com for a long time. It really didn’t disappoint me. Parking is very convenient. The homestay is on the side of the road. There is no winding path. There is an elevator on the first floor to the front desk on the second floor. The housekeeper is very enthusiastic and responsible. I will give more if I need anything. There is also a Hanfu Hall on the second floor. The balcony on the second floor has a good view of Dongjiang Lake. If you can't sleep at night, you can go to the second floor to have a drink. It is very atmospheric and the room is very clean and comfortable. It is worth everyone's rush!

Off-season travel, super cost-effective, from Hygienic: clean, good service attitude, but there is a problem that the door lock of the room you stayed in is faulty, and the inside cannot be locked.

The environment is lovely, with a small courtyard. The rooms are loft-style, with a small living room on the first floor where you can play mahjong, and two 1.5-meter tatami mats on the second floor. It's perfect for a family of four. It would be very pleasant to sit outside in the courtyard in the summer evenings.

In addition to the fog view, Xiaodongjiang is also very beautiful on a sunny day in the evening. The quilt of the homestay is also clean, and breakfast, lunch and dinner can also be eaten at the homestay.

The hotel is clean and hygienic in the scenic area. The lake is warm and satisfied.
