Food: Coldwater fish, wild vegetable omelets, and handmade dumplings – no need to even leave the premises!
Accommodation: Definitely better value than Xuexiang next door, and you get to experience an authentic Northeast Chinese rural atmosphere.
Activities: The owner will even join you for fun! You can spend a day at the Snow Valley ski resort, then another day exploring Xiongling.
PS: There are also some delightful surprises like horse sledding, water splashing into ice, iron flower performances, traditional Northeast floral padded coats, and even playing with 'silly deer' (roe deer).

We stayed here with our 4-year-old child and had a very pleasant experience. The guesthouse area is beautiful and well maintained. There is a front yard where children can freely play in the snow, build snowmen, and enjoy winter activities. When it gets too cold, you can simply go back inside the house without needing to walk far.
The guesthouse is also conveniently located near an amusement park and a large stage. In the evenings, there are bonfires and fireworks starting from 7:00 PM, which adds to the overall experience. The amusement park is more than sufficient for young children.
For those looking for more adventure, the owner can help arrange activities such as fishing, skiing, snowboarding, or snowmobile rides at nearby locations within about 3 km. There is really no need to travel far to places like Wusongling or Bear Hills, as there are plenty of activities available nearby, and the area is not crowded.
The only downside is that there is no ski conveyor or lift, so you need to walk uphill if you want to ski again.

Guest UserHighly recommend this B&B—it offers incredible value for money and an amazing experience.
**Cleanliness and Environment**: A delightful surprise! I honestly expected the cleanliness to be subpar given the low price, but upon arrival, I found the B&B to be incredibly cozy, tidy, and clean.
**Service**: The owner is fantastic. They offered activity suggestions, helped us book transportation, and even dropped us off at the starting point for our Yangcaoshan mountain trek early in the morning. They even checked in with us during our journey to see if we were on schedule to reach Snow Town. The owner also helped us get hot water for the 'ice-splashing' game.
**Food**: The B&B offers a menu with local wild vegetables, and the dishes are prepared in a delicious, home-style manner. The restaurant is managed by the owner's parents, who are both very warm and friendly.

Highly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Snow Valley! Nan Nan Homestay has an unbeatable location, incredibly close to the ski resort. After a tiring day of skiing, you can just turn around and head back to rest. The owner is a local and an excellent guide, providing professional service. The attraction tickets they helped us book were cheaper than online, and they even arranged free shuttle service within the scenic area, so we didn't have to lug our luggage around. The rooms are well-equipped with private bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The large kang bed can accommodate 2-4 people, making it perfect for family trips or traveling with friends. The 'tie guo dun' (iron pot stew) and 'guo bao rou' (sweet and sour pork) at the restaurant are super authentic, with fresh and flavorful ingredients – incredible value for money. We loved our stay so much, we didn't want to leave!

Every day since leaving Xinfu, I've been missing the sledding hill behind the lodge (it was free and unlimited!).
The owner even helps guests take photoshoots like 'splashing water into ice' (he took three amazing shots for me 😎) and 'glowing with colors.' He's an incredibly skilled photographer, and those pictures instantly elevated my social media game. They also organized a session where we all made candied hawthorns together. As an extrovert, being able to chat with everyone like that was just so enjoyable!
The owner also led the trip to Wusong Ridge, keeping us entertained, taking photos, and even teaching us how to ski along the way. As someone from the south, I truly got to experience the thrill of playing wildly in the snow!
And of course, the accommodation itself was very unique, with a traditional heated *kang* bed, ensuring a deep sleep until morning. Waking up to hot porridge in the morning was just heavenly!

If the full score is not limited, I would like to give 10,000 points 😂 A good B&B that is one in a million 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The boss is a superman. He has multiple jobs including driver, tour guide, photographer, babysitter, help with booking a car, customizing an itinerary, etc. I knew there was no TV in the room before booking, but I was afraid I would be bored. As a result, the whole night's activities were arranged in a variety of ways, haha. You can have fun and fall asleep. The boss's family is warm and sincere. It really feels like home. The sliding ring in their own yard makes the children have a lot of fun. There are even more fun trips to Yangcao Mountain Crossing and Wusongling. The boss also took us to explore the snow in depth, and the experience was full 💯 There was also a small episode. On the way to the B&B, I left my ID card in the service area halfway. The boss helped to contact and find it. When we came back from the trip, he gave us a big surprise. I was touched❤️ The first sentence of the child after moving to Harbin was Let's go back to Xuegu to play 😂😂😂 Highly recommended for families with children, super cost-effective You can just go to the snow town to check in. If you have enough time, it is recommended to stay here for a few more days. This is the most satisfactory place for this trip to Harbin. I will come again next time! ! ! 🥰

First, the pros: The villa offers a great view, right above the snow tubing track, which made the kids very happy. Staying in a detached villa also meant it was quiet. The underfloor heating worked wonderfully, keeping it very warm. The restaurant's food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was especially good; other places either charged more or offered smaller, less tasty portions for the same price. On the second day, we went to Wusongling, and there was a guide who was great at getting everyone excited, taught us how to ski, and helped with photos and videos. The 400-yuan ticket was definitely worth it. The owner and their family were all very welcoming!
Now for the cons: Upon entering the villa, there was an unpleasant smell, like fresh renovation, though the front desk said it was just the smell of wood. People sensitive to smells might want to be aware of this.

This was a surprisingly great stay! The owner was incredibly welcoming, always greeting us warmly whenever we came and went. Their smile was truly infectious. They even came out to meet us and gave us excellent tips on where to eat, drink, and have fun, helping us avoid any tourist traps – absolutely fantastic! The room layout was very well designed and spacious. Most importantly, it was spotless and odorless, feeling just as cozy as our own home.

This time, we took the kids and stayed in a heated kang room. It was my children's first time experiencing a traditional東北 (Dongbei) heated kang, and they found it very warm, quite different from sleeping on a regular bed. It's firmer than a bed but exceptionally warm, and the room itself was very toasty. The owner was really hospitable. The location is also good, close to the road, making it convenient for those traveling by car.
