2-Star Hotels in Tai'an

The room was clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors. The guesthouse is in a quiet location, very close to the scenic area, which is great for light sleepers. The owner is kind and beautiful; she not only provided hiking poles for us on the way up the mountain but also drove us to the entrance. When we came back down, she made us tea with spring water, and we chatted while enjoying the tea, forgetting all the fatigue from the climb. If I come back next time, I'll stay here again. I forgot to take pictures of the guesthouse.

We only stayed at the hotel for one night before climbing the mountain but we were treated as if we were family. The hotel might not have the amenities of a 5 Star hotel but the level of service is exactly what you'd hope to get from a 5 Star hotel. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and always with a huge smile. They also recommended a restaurant across the road which was absolutely delicious. The hotel is clean, has everything you need in a hotel room and is less than 250m from the main entrance to the climb (Red Gate). The taxi had a bit of a problem finding the hotel because it's down a small alley off of the main road but it's well worth hunting it out.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The room was spotless and tidy, and the wooden decor made it feel both cozy and upscale. The huge mirror made the space feel incredibly spacious. The mountain and city views from the window were amazing, and watching the sunset in the evening was absolutely beautiful. The bedside projector was a great bonus too; it was so pleasant to snuggle in bed and watch movies at night. I had a very comfortable stay and will definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town!

The room is very clean, the door is smart and small, the front desk staff is very warm and caring, people have a feeling of going home, parking at the door is very convenient, eating around is also very convenient

The room was clean, well equipped and the air was fresh. The hotel has a laundry room very intimate! The breakfast is rich and delicious. The service is thoughtful and intimate. The clothes fell in the hotel, the service staff contacted and sent the courier in time, thank you very much for the staff on duty!

The hotel is very new and the facilities are very good. It is possible that they did not estimate the capacity to receive guests at one time before the trial operation, and the equipment was not debugged at full capacity, resulting in insufficient staff. We checked in at 2:30 but entered the room at 5:00. Moreover, the next morning, the shower gel had run out of water, which caused chaos. The front desk did not answer the phone and there was no emergency measures when we went to look for them. They just said sorry, which is really wrong. Moreover, when faced with questioning, the front desk clerk became annoyed and said that she couldn't communicate with her and asked to contact her leader. In the end, it was the store manager who came forward to resolve the issue, and the store manager handled it relatively promptly. The first experience was not good.

Pros: Nice environment, clean and tidy rooms; Very close to Hongmen, only a five or six-minute walk, convenient for hiking; The landlady is very friendly and proactive in resolving issues; Cons: Poor soundproofing; sounds from the lobby can be clearly heard from the first-floor room, waking me up around midnight; Limited hot water supply; barely enough for one person to shower at a time, requiring a long interval between showers for two people; Poor communication between the landlady and others; items that were agreed upon and placed in the refrigerator were all thrown away.

Conveniently located not far away from Hongmen - I even managed to walk to the site where the evening pilgrims start their hike from after 8pm. It is an experience seeing the area getting busy with all those who wanted to climb up Taishan. The hotel is quiet, managed by a father and son duo. While the father did not speak any English and even when we had no tools to translate what we meant, we seemingly communicated with him easily especially since we bought a few things and even made requests. Rooms are basic, and they serve their purpose for a 1 night stay. I'd recommend.

I chose this hotel for its affordable price and close proximity to Mount Tai Shan, and it completely delivered. The room had everything I needed, and the bed offered a stunning view of the mountains and the city below. Getting to the mountain was easy—just a short taxi or bus ride away. The area around the hotel is convenient, with a small shop and a few cafes within walking distance. A large shopping mall and supermarket are also just 3-4 bus stops away. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Tai An!

This hotel indeed a no frills hotel. Value for money as it was within walking distance to the main entrance (Hongmen) to hike Mount Taishan. Convenient and can get food around without any problem. Purely for hiking Taishan this is it. To take note if coming from High-Speed Train Station getting a cap you need to advise the driver this hotel is near Hongmen (Taishan main entrance). Best is to ask driver to their GPS App as many drivers are not aware of this driver. This is a small set-up hotel. The owner especially the owner wife are very nice, friendly and helpful. Worth the stay as my objective was hiking up Mount Taishan. Duly achieved.
