Choosing the right guesthouse in Hengdaohezi is absolutely key for a great trip, and this one made our vacation incredibly happy! The owner was super thoughtful; they communicated with us in advance about our pickup time and were waiting for us at the station, immediately helping with our luggage – it instantly warmed us up in the winter chill. The guesthouse room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the snow view outside the window was incredibly calming. The biggest surprise was the extra activities: they provided free snow tubes, so we could enjoy the thrill of sliding in the snow right in the yard – both adults and kids had a blast. In the evening, the owner organized a bonfire party; everyone gathered around the fire, chatting and laughing, creating a lively and wonderful atmosphere. The owner also enthusiastically shared local travel tips and food recommendations, being completely genuine and transparent throughout. Whether it was the service, environment, or activities, everything was impeccable. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Hengdaohezi, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a snow trip!

The service was excellent, and a convenient shuttle service is also available. The rooms were clean. It's located right by a small river, and the town is full of Russian charm. The Painting Village, churches, and other attractions are all within walking distance. The train station itself is also very distinctive.

I came to Hengdaohezi for a long time. I also chose Xinya Hotel for a long time in terms of accommodation. I saw on Xiaohongshu that the hygiene was great, and the boss’s service attitude was very good. The most consequential thing was that I didn’t step on thunder. It will not be noisy to rest. It is next to Jingbo Lake, but it is recommended that you still drive to the entrance of the scenic spot. There is still some road to walk inside, so it would be better if you can walk less

The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Although my booked rate didn't initially include shower access, I was able to use one for just a small additional fee. Shortly after checking in, I discovered there was no electricity in my room. The owner promptly moved me to another room, which was very considerate. Thank you!

The price is low, the size is adequate, the sanitation is good, and all the necessary facilities are available. The problem is that it is in a semi-basement, which I am not used to.

The room is not soundproof, and you can hear the toilet flushing next door clearly. The air conditioner is old, but the store's service attitude is very good. Because I brought my children, I asked for extra pillows and disposable slippers, which were very satisfying.
