The location of this hotel is the best it can get in the heart of the old town..the staff is very friendly and helps as good as the can although communication in English can be a little difficult. For the very low price I was surprised of the good cleanliness. Highly recommend this hotel for budget solo travelers or couples.

The Shadao where I stayed after returning from Ta County is not as decorated in the ethnic style as many B&Bs in Kashgar, but as soon as you enter the lobby, you will feel that it is very clean, comfortable, and simple and elegant. I didn't sleep well at night in Ta County because the quilt was too thick, so I finally got a solid night's sleep in Shadao. You can take pictures of Kunlun Tower from the rooftop terrace of the B&B. It is very close to the ancient city of Dongcheng and Gaotai Residential Houses. It only takes a few minutes to walk. The boss aunt also carefully introduced us to the Kashgar Ancient City tour route, which was very considerate. In short, during this 12-day trip to Xinjiang, I booked 4 B&Bs, and Shadao was the most warm and comfortable one for me!

The room is relatively new, the breakfast is OK, 18 yuan per person, and there is a self-service washing machine on the sixth floor. It is very quiet to sleep at night. A small comment: For extended guest rooms, the hygiene needs to be cleaned every day and daily necessities need to be replenished.

In September 2017, I went to Xinjiang for the second time (traveling in southern Xinjiang) and stayed in this hotel (then called Kashgar Western Region Plaza) for two nights on 13th and 14th. We still traveled independently (with two young sisters-in-law) and decisively placed an order to stay in this hotel. Just cross the road and go through a small alley to reach the west city. Cross the road from the hotel and turn left. About 150 meters away, there is a pigeon soup restaurant that is very authentic and delicious. They only sell 500 pigeons every day (35 yuan for a set meal, 12 yuan for a sheep's foot).
