The bathroom facilities were also excellent, with both squat toilets and regular commodes, plus speakers in the shower! They even provide a travel guide upon check-in, which is fantastic! There's a huge viewing deck with an amazing view of Daming Lake and Chaoran Tower, and the night view is absolutely stunning! And there's an adorable little pig too!

The bed was comfortable, though the room lacked a TV and instead had a projector — I didn’t use it, but it’s a nice touch for those who want to stream content. The floor I was on looked a bit dated, and I could hear people passing by in the lobby area, so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper. While the hotel felt safe, the Wi-Fi wasn’t reliable enough to work on my laptop, so I was glad to have my own connection. Overall, it’s a great choice for budget-conscious travelers looking for a convenient location near a major mall and basic amenities.

We visited Qushuiting Street, Wulongtan, and Daming Lake, and even tried some Jinan lamb skewers from Chuandou. It was a worthwhile trip!
