My mom and I stayed here, and we loved it at first sight! There's a huge courtyard, so relaxing to sunbathe there in the afternoon! Our room even had its own terrace, which we absolutely loved! The bed was also in a traditional Chinese style, and for a fan of that style like me, this inn was the dream inn of my life. There was even a guqin (a traditional Chinese stringed instrument) at the front desk – I loved that! I also love the name of the inn!!! In short, I love everything about it! Oh, and the owner also loves traditional Chinese style music; she plays all those songs, which I adore!!!

The guesthouse has a great location, right in the most bustling part of the scenic area. The waterfront rooms are beautiful and charming in the early morning and late at night. However, when there are many tourists, sitting by the window drinking tea means you're very close to the boats, and you might feel a little awkward looking at other tourists on board. The guesthouse isn't very soundproof, so it might disturb noisy guests who stay up late. But the owner is incredibly kind; worried I'd get tired dragging my luggage, she personally took me and my luggage to the bus station on her scooter – excellent service!

Because of work, I often come to Xitang and my first choice is to stay at Xitang Hotel. First of all, the location is very good. Turn left when you go out and you will find the entrance to the scenic spot. Downstairs is the commercial street with various shops. It is very convenient to eat, buy and play. The room facilities are a little old, but they are complete, clean and tidy with a sense of quality. The front desk service is warm, thoughtful and meticulous. I feel like an old friend after living here for several years.

We are *********. We booked this B&B based on the reviews. I was not disappointed. The lady boss is really nice, gentle and talkative. The lady boss's daughter is pretty, generous and talkative... Stayed here for 3 nights. Tan Bai said that I slept well and lived well. The hostess would help me with any needs. It felt like we were family. Thank you to my elegant daughter for ordering food for me. I was really touched❤️❤️ The location of this homestay is very good🎉🎉, it is close to the ancient town, it is super close, only 2 minutes away, there are many things to eat when you walk to the main road, I especially recommend the breakfast shop at the entrance of the alley where a couple and their daughter sell breakfast, it is delicious😋delicious😋.. I ate it for 3 days in a row, fried noodles, fried rice, steamed buns, soy milk, awesome👍👍👍 If I have the chance to come to Xitang Ancient Town again, I will stay here again❤️ Thank you, my dear wife and pretty daughter ㊗️Your business is booming and customers are coming in continuously🎆

Along the riverside of the core scenic area of Xitang are all homestays, including this one. We stayed on the first floor, and we had to climb the attic to the second floor. The balcony of the room faces the river, and opposite is the Misty Corridor and the Songzi Laifeng Bridge. You can sit on the balcony and watch the cruise ships coming and going in the river. It is so close, and the scenery is really great! This homestay is very close to Xiyuan, Wangzhai and Shipinong, which is very convenient for playing! The boss came to the parking lot to pick us up, and the service was also good! The room facilities are really simple, there is not even a decent table and chair, and the bedding is all disposable covers. The hygiene can be guaranteed, but it feels a bit rough when sleeping. The bath water is very good and large, and the non-slip slippers are also safe. The room is next to the water, and there are many mosquitoes, but there are no mosquitoes at night, which is very satisfactory.

The location is good, on the east side of the scenic area. Convenient for traveling. Very close to the bar street. There is a good breakfast next door. The supplies are clean and hygienic, and are probably supplied uniformly. The room is an antique building.

For this price and location, cannot complain. Was quite content. Great location, rooms clean enough. It’s a family run property in an old town and old building, so please do not expect 5-star service.
