2-Star Hotels in Ergun

An unexpected surprise, the facilities are not so luxurious, but it is not easy for my parents to evaluate clean and tidy. The accommodation run by the boss family is attentive. The first day I also told me the information of free attractions in time and the recommended barbecue was also online, so that I can't say anything from a Northeast person. The price is not bad, maybe not in the peak season

The boss was very good, watching us take a child to change to a room with a small courtyard. Because of the large temperature difference in the weather, my child was a little dissatisfied with the soil and water. The boss drove me to buy medicine for breakfast in the morning and gave me water. The room is very good and there is a small vegetable plot.

I found this guesthouse as I was driving up the G331 from Erguna to Beijicun as part of my 2 0 day road trip loop from the northernmost part of China to A'ershan and back. Mo'edaogazhen is a very small, quiet town and I was the only guest in this guesthouse. I got a friendly welcome when I arrived by the Auntie and Uncle. I was welcomed to my room and got settled in. As an Englishman, I had to go down to the police station and then to another hotel to have my location registered - a Chinese Government requirement. The boss jumped in the car and saw me get it sorted nice and smoothly with no hassle. The room was nice and comfy and in the traditional wooden style which suited my trip well. A couple of improvements would be to make sure the room has a kettle on arrival and that the shower won't flood for other guests. But no harm done, I slept well and enjoyed plenty of Gongfu tea sessions. As I left, the Auntie/Sister gave me two Russian pastries which I was very appreciative of. Things like this leave a lasting impression, especially for us foreign travellers. I ended up driving from Erguna to Beijicun via the G331 - the most isolated section in the nation - and these pastries saw me through the journey well. Thank you both and Happy Chinese New Year!

This guesthouse far exceeded my expectations. The whole place is clean and tidy, with warm and tranquil decor. The common areas are meticulously maintained, making for an exceptionally comfortable stay. The owner is gentle and easygoing, providing attentive and thoughtful service throughout. They patiently helped with any requests I had. What was most heartwarming was the incredibly thoughtful breakfast service, which could be reserved until 10:30 AM. This meant no rushing to get up early, allowing for a leisurely and delightful breakfast.

The room was clean and cozy, with convenient parking right outside. It's only a 7-minute drive to the Wetland Scenic Area, which is very close. Even though it's a wooden house, it wasn't noisy at all.

The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, which is very convenient. The mattress is not soft or hard to sleep comfortably. The bathroom is also equipped with disposable toilet pads, disposable cups and dental appliances. The proprietress is also very enthusiastic and the service is particularly good. The child has high requirements for accommodation, and the wooden house has always been unwilling to live, but this stay is not bad 😁

The location of the hotel is not very easy to find. In a community, I called the boss to find it. The sign is not obvious. The room is on the second floor. The boss lives on the first floor. The family hotel. The room temperature is particularly good. It will not be cold at all. It is very warm.

The landlady here is incredibly warm and friendly! It's not far from the new Ergun Bus Station, and about the same distance from the Ergun Wetland; a taxi should cost around 6 yuan! (I walked to the wetland, just along Jinque Street. The taxi driver on the way back was dishonest; he didn't use the meter and charged me 10 yuan! He even tried to make money off my trip to the National Wetland and Birch Forest, so of course I didn't take him! 😡😡) She also recommended a wonderful driver named ”Jing,” who was kind and fair-priced! Because there are no longer large buses running to the National Wetland and Birch Forest after the pandemic, you can only hire a car or share a ride… After going to the National Wetland first, I found that the birch trees had very few leaves left. On the driver's suggestion, I went to Heishantou instead. She even found me a girl from Hunan to share a ride with. The trip was very rewarding and enjoyable! If it weren't for witnessing two cars hitting and killing two cows crossing the road on the way back—the front of the cars was completely destroyed, and the drivers had to be hospitalized—everything would have been perfect! (Don't drive fast, especially after dark!)
