The breakfast isn't amazing, but after diving, you know, you work up quite an appetite, so the Korean-leaning breakfast with limited options was perfectly fine! The hotel facilities are a bit older compared to newly opened hotels in my home country, and the soundproofing is a minor issue. However, our whole family was quite satisfied, and the front desk thoughtfully moved us to a better-located room. Thumbs up!"

"This is one gem in the heart of Panglao away from hustle and bustle if you want a quiet holiday. Family friendly that has everything you need. Good variety buffet breakfast and bar cocktail in the swimming pool. Walk further at the back and you’ll be at the beach but the beach seems polluted because of so many boats docked there and since it is the pick up point for island hopping. Be careful walking in the water as the area is sea urchins nest. Locals collect them in the afternoon and sell to passers by. Very nice for sunset photo shoots. The rooms of the hotel is descent in terms of size and very clean. Bathroom is well supplied and even an outdoor rubber slippers are provided. Swimming pool is regularly cleaned and heated. Reception area is very cozy and can be humid since this is not an airconditioned room. Staff are warm and very accommodating from the reception to front man and in buffet area. You can choose Tuktuk or Grab for transportation to go to Alona beach which is the heart of Bohol were you can shop, dine, drink and stroll. This is kinda little Boracay."

"Staying at Oceanica was a great experience who wants to escape the bustle city life.... the views of the beach, garden and mini forests were quite calm and relaxing. "The hotel environment is very good. McDonald's in the city center is also very close. The front desk can help you call a taxi. It only takes 5 minutes to get there. The breakfast is mainly American, clean and hygienic. Due to personal negligence, a Bluetooth headset was left in the hotel. Thank you for the help of Michelle, the hotel staff. She was very patient and kind to help send the express and send the detailed express tracking number. Thank you again, Michelle🙏"

XXiaohasamcThe hotel is very new, you can tell it was recently built. The lobby and interiors aren't luxurious but have a simpler, more minimalist style. The room was a bit small, and while it wasn't a poolside lake view room, it was very close to the pool. The kids' pool has a slide, which the children loved. The main pool has a unique and fun design too. As for food, we only tried UMA; the restaurant next door was a buffet, not suitable for kids. UMA had limited choices, but the food was decent, especially the breakfast, which was very rich and a must-add. The beach here is average; its advantage is that it's uncrowded, only accessible to hotel guests. The downside is the coarse sand and lots of seaweed along the shore, making it hard to even use sand-digging tools. Finally, regarding the sea just outside the hotel, there's too much seaweed, and the shallow water is very murky. While snorkeling, we only saw starfish and sea urchins, not a single fish. You had to go quite a distance to see a few scattered small fish, which was a bit disappointing compared to our expectation of a 'shallow-sea aquarium.' In summary, this hotel is definitely a safe bet, being very new, and perfect for couples and families. The staff are incredibly friendly; it truly feels like a home away from home. The hotel itself is very photogenic; you can get great shots from any angle. I would recommend it to friends!

We had an amazing experience at The Bellevue Resort Panglao! The entire place is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and truly gives a luxurious yet relaxing vibe. But what makes this resort truly exceptional is their top-notch customer service. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help.
A special shout-out to Ms. Mary at the front desk for coordinating everything so excellently. She made everything smooth and effortless for us, and her thoughtful assistance truly made a difference.
What touched us even more was how the whole team went above and beyond to make my husband’s birthday extra special—even without us asking! Their kindness and attention to detail made our stay incredibly memorable.

GGuest UserWe first stayed in junior room on the first floor. There was work going on. Moved to the villa which was a completely different experience.
The junior suite was large but unfortunately without a balcony. On arrival we had fruit and free non-alcoholic drinks in the fridge. In the evening we were provided with cookies. The room was on the 1st floor. They supplied shower gel and conditioner but no soap.
There was work going on next door to the room. We discussed our noise concerns Analou who arranged for us to move to a Villa. Analou also helped with the tour bookings. She was professional and friendly.
The villa was amazing with a plunge pool and all the extras in the bathroom.
The pool was kept clean and in the afternoon provided with a shot of juice and an ice lolly.
Service throughout the hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean and spacious. Thanks to the housekeeping team- Jamie’s, Rommel and Claude.
In the restaurant and bar area I want to thank Vincent, Daniel and Girlie.
We ate at the Spanish restaurant which was good and by the pool.
The hotel arranged trips to see dolphins and turtles which we enjoyed. We also went on the country side tour. Although we did not go into the church as it closes on Tuesday’s.
The nice little extras were cookies in the toom. Cold towels, ice cream and fruit shots by pool.

ООстап ВолковThere is nothing like this on Panglao, when you live in the silence of the jungle, surrounded by nature and excellent service.
Excellent breakfasts, when you order exactly what you want, and do not choose from the buffet from the leftovers. We did not have time to try all the breakfast options in a week. The Paprika restaurant itself is one of the best on the island, located on a cliff with a beautiful view of the sea.
The service is ideal - you can correspond with the staff via WhatsApp, without having to call. Free transfer to Alona beach, for an additional price we took a trip to the fireflies, a tour of the island of Bohol and a boat for snorkeling. Meeting at the airport and return transfer to the airport was also for money (Attention! Now, to fly from the island, you need to have 900 pesos in cash per person, prepare this money in advance!). The villa itself looks luxurious and spacious, the ceiling made of many crossbars emphasizes the ethnic orientation, and the surrounding of each house with a dense forest with birds singing creates coziness and unity with nature.
Of the minuses - I did not like the excursion to the island of Balikasag for snorkeling - early in the morning you swim trying to see dolphins, but the chance to see them is very small, on the island of Balikasag itself they let you swim only 1 hour, and then take you back to the hotel, although the hotel said that the boat is at our disposal and we can swim everywhere and as much as we want.
I would also call the hotel's somewhat abandoned state a minus - the stable and spa center look sad, some villas from the outside look abandoned and covered with dry leaves. Since we were in the dry season, the area around the villa was dry, it would be nice if the lawn near the houses was watered, but this may possibly attract extra insects, which, by the way, were almost non-existent, despite the jungle surroundings. The staff speaks excellent English, is smiling and friendly. Thank you for an unforgettable week in a paradise!

The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and serene views that made it easy to relax. I especially loved the lagoon-style pool and lush garden surroundings—it genuinely felt like a tropical sanctuary.
The food at the restaurant was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Breakfast options were plentiful, and dining by the water added such a peaceful touch to each day.

KKaka07This hotel is located on Doljo Beach, and it's wonderfully quiet. The water is crystal clear and calm, perfect for a relaxing vacation 🏖️. In the mornings, during low tide, you can go beachcombing and find lots of starfish, sea urchins, blue crabs, hermit crabs, and small fish. From midday onwards, it's an excellent spot for snorkeling, with plenty of clownfish to see.
The hotel itself is great, both in terms of facilities and service. The decor is new and features a stylish Nordic design. The staff are all incredibly nice, very responsive to any requests, and they offer a delicious welcome drink. While the breakfast isn't extensive, it covers all the basic essentials. Getting to Alona Beach by 'tutu' (tricycle) costs 200P and takes about 15 minutes. I absolutely love this hotel.

GGuest UserWe had a pleasant stay at Cliffside Resort, a place that truly stands out for its stunning view and its very peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
The room was clean, although a few small details could be improved, such as the drawers, which were not properly cleaned.
Most of the staff were very welcoming and smiling, which created a warm and friendly environment. A few team members were a bit less friendly, so the experience felt slightly inconsistent, but overall the staff were lovely.
The food was very good, and so were the cocktails, which made our meals enjoyable.
However, the timing of the service really needs improvement. It became almost funny: one of us would get their meal, eat it calmly… and the other would be served 30 minutes later — sometimes almost an hour later.
It’s a strange and quite awkward situation, because you don’t really get to eat together. Back in France, this would never happen, so it was really surprising.
Despite this issue, we overall had a positive stay, with an exceptional setting and lots of potential for an even better experience.

GGuest UserThis is a decent resort with good value for money, perfect if you're using it as your sole base in Bohol. It's a notch below a typical resort in Sanya, China, but still offers standard five-star hotel amenities. What sets it apart from Sanya hotels is the excellent snorkeling right off the shore. The hotel provides free life vests, so even kids can enjoy it (safety first!). There are plenty of fish in the water, and you can easily find starfish – in fact, we later realized starfish are quite common around Bohol. If you're looking for more diverse marine life, you'll need to take a boat further out. The breakfast buffet is standard, with a good variety, and always features at least one roasted meat daily. The lunch and dinner restaurants are a bit pricey for what you get, though the dining environment is lovely. There's also a quiet rooftop restaurant on the fourth floor above the guest rooms. Given its location near Alona Beach, a fairly bustling area, you can easily order food delivery to the hotel lobby via apps, and there's a shuttle service to Alona. Being close to both the airport and Alona makes it an ideal first hotel in Bohol. You can then use it as a base to book sardine snorkeling and island hopping tours, even directly through Ctrip.

EElizaveta VThe hotel is located in an isolated place, so it is very convenient to rent a bike or a tricycle to get to the town or to the nearest restaurant. There is a small private beach, but there are a lot of plants and a lot of boats. I loved the service - you can call the massage or manicure master, grab a drink at the beach bar, lie down near the beach and enjoy the service. They also provided me a bike rent with delivery. The room is in zebra style - very nice and comfy. The only thing I disliked - the room is very small, it is basically tiny, though it had a terrace which a view of the hotel stairs which I found useless.
