Central Hotel Shanghai

Good location near Nanjing road walking street, convenient store and train station. Yummy breakfast & Friendly hotel staffs .

The hotel has a stunning lobby and reception area, though insufficient seats for guests waiting for their ride or taxi. The hotel Concierge was helpful but i cannot understand why the hotel does not put up a signage to hail taxis in. Personnel at the check-in reception could be more pleasant and since payment has to be Cash/paid on check-in (no prepay option), an invoice/receipt should be issued upon payment. I never got my receipt. The room has a vintage touch with mahogany panels and cupboards, and the view we had was the huge square, which is part of Nanjing Pedestrian Street, where various events can be held there. I had hoped for a room looking east so that i could see the magnificent skyscrapers of Shanghai. Hopefully my next stay there..... I must mention the michelin dinner offer to house guests. Really worth tasting and for a bargain too.

What can I say about that the location?? It is in the heart of Nanjing Lu pedestrian Shopping street. Very vibrant and happening place. Service is also good. Nice stay. Hope to repeat again.

The location is fantastic.Close to almost everything you need. The room is very spacious and clean.You also get your room cleaned everyday. The price is very reasonable compares to what you get. If i go to shanghai again,i would definitely choose this place.
