I absolutely loved Valley House for its location, cleanliness, exquisite taste, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and spotlessly clean. The views are unbeatable: the Li River is just a few meters away, and the famous mountains depicted on the 20 yuan banknote are right in front of the hotel. You just have to cross the street to rent a scooter. If you walk about 15 meters further down towards the Li River, you can book a bamboo boat ride, join a fisherman to observe the ancient practice of cormorant fishing, or simply stroll and relax along the bank. Every day, they offer a complimentary assortment of fresh fruit, and at the dining area counter, a variety of homemade beverages, such as homemade lemonade, freshly ground coffee, or date and ginger tea, are available 24/7. They also prepare delicious dishes upon request. The menu is quite extensive and includes vegetarian options, but meals need to be reserved before 9:30 PM the day before. The staff is exceptionally attentive, kind, and highly empathetic, something I had genuinely started to miss during this nearly month-long trip. Suffice it to say that every day, after feasting on their delicious dinners, they would offer me a small bowl of red bean paste soup, just in case I was still hungry. And this is just one example among many of the warm human touch provided by the staff at this hotel. Besides five stars, they deserve a five-heart rating. A real gem and, without a doubt, the best accommodation of this entire trip. I will never forget you. 🥰

The floor-to-ceiling window in the room offered an absolutely stunning view. Opening the window revealed the green mountains and the Yulong River, making for incredible photos. I specifically chose this hotel for the window view and the swimming pool, and my child absolutely loved it upon arrival. **Environment:** A thousand square meters of lawn plus an infinity pool. The mountain-and-water themed blue pool was perfect for amazing pictures. **Activities:** Free-roaming deer, daily cormorant fishing performances, lacquer fan making, and petting zoo feeding. **Food & Stay:** With its own restaurant, we spent the whole day at the hotel and didn't bother eating out. The hotel food was also excellent, and they even offered free sweet soup in the evening. It was a welcome escape from the noise of crowded guesthouses. The hotel buildings were well-equipped, and the soft furnishings, with their wooden and Instagrammable style, were top-notch. There was no need to rush. We spent the whole day leisurely, relaxing on the lawn, playing in the pool, and feeding the deer. It felt like many hotels and cafes in Yangshuo have great aesthetics, and the scenery is beautiful, but the street aesthetics are truly dismal. This was my child's first travel photoshoot. Usually, they refuse to be photographed, but the Miao ethnic costumes for the photoshoot at the hotel were beautiful and relatively clean, so we were able to get some great shots right there. Thumbs up! The shoot was quick, which was great since it was hot, allowing us to quickly get our photos and head back to the hotel for coffee.

Our stay at Fadai was simply wonderful and one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to China. The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful settings for photography, surrounded by stunning mountains and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are extremely spacious and feature a huge bathtub facing the views, allowing you to relax while enjoying the magnificent scenery. It was truly unforgettable. What made our stay even more special was the incredible staff. Everyone was exceptionally kind and always willing to help. They even went out of their way at 10:00 p.m. to find vegetarian food for us, making sure we had dinner despite the late hour. The staff also helped us organize our visit to the local show and made sure we arrived on time. In my opinion, it was the best show I have ever seen in my life. One of the most unique experiences offered by the hotel is the traditional Chinese photo session. The hotel provides three complimentary photos and has several beautiful settings within the property where guests can dress as women from ancient China. The staff help with the traditional costumes, makeup, and poses to ensure the photos turn out beautifully. The results are absolutely stunning. The mountain scenery creates an unforgettable backdrop and leaves you with incredible memories. Our experience at Fadai was truly exceptional, and we recommend this hotel 100%. The location is breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff are genuinely warm and caring. Our first stop in Yangshuo this summer was this hotel, primarily because it offered an all-in-one package for entertaining kids, and also featured Zhuang ethnic attire, family photos, and travel photography. The outdoor scenery was absolutely stunning, perfect for capturing some epic shots. And the price was quite reasonable too. They offer afternoon tea with views of the Yulong River, mountains, and sunrise/sunset, plus dinner – all available on-site. The environment speaks for itself in the photos. The service was attentive and warm. We'll definitely be back next year for a second visit!

Stayed at 栖心·九隐的院子(阳朔十里画廊遇龙河店) and honestly, the experience was something special. The location is excellent, right beside major attractions, making it very convenient to get around Yangshuo without wasting time on transport. Everything feels within reach. One thing that stood out is their 24/7 home-like service. You can contact them anytime, and they are always responsive and helpful, which makes the stay very comfortable. They also offer 24/7 e-motor rental, which is a must in Yangshuo since it’s part of the local travel culture. Just a small tip — remember to take the umbrella attachment for the bike, the sun can be really intense. What truly makes this place different is the personalised, family-like service. The staff actually pay attention to your habits and travel style, and recommend activities that genuinely suit you instead of pushing touristy options. For example, one day we got caught in the rain while riding back. The staff had actually messaged us earlier to take shelter, but we missed it and ended up drenched. When we returned, they immediately suggested we take a hot shower and even prepared a pot of hot ginger tea with red dates, personally delivering it to our room. It was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. This is not a typical five- or six-star luxury hotel, but that’s not the point. The atmosphere is unique — cosy, warm, and genuinely homely. It feels less like staying at a hotel and more like being taken care of by people who actually care. Highly recommended if you value comfort, warmth, and a more personal travel experience.

I had the pleasure of staying at 花梦间 as it was the best decision I’ve made in hotels for our Guilin China. There are two branches, one near Yulong River and the other at Eternal Romance Park. Both properties are beautiful and comparable to a 5 star hotel. The design of the space in fact won an award, so it was an absolutely comfortable stay. We accidentally landed at the wrong branch and could not get a cab due to the peak travel seasons and the boss himself came to pick us up in the middle of his meal. That was absolutely kind of him. The most memorable aspect of the stay was the dedication of the boss towards making guests comfortable. On several occasions we saw him running errands for the hotel himself. The rooms also had thoughtful details such as metal clothes hangers and two types of pillows for guests. Beds were comfortable to sleep in and sound proofing was good. Upon check in, they will put you into a WeChat group with the “hotel butler” to assist with requests and they respond quickly to questions. Afternoon tea cakes were also delicious! If you like to be lively the Yulong branch near the river has more footprint as there are bamboo rafting ports at the doorstep and lots of beautiful cafe nearby. If you want a newer property and to go to the Eternal Romance Park the other branch has beautiful big rooms and a little courtyard where they plant some small vegetables, quite cute to look at! I’d love to come here and stay again. Thank you once again for the lovely lovely stay.

There are the waterlily ponds around the hotel and you can hear the delightful little frogs croaking at night. The staff are very friendly and helpful with all requests, and the hotel's interior is clean and beautifully designed. The pool is also very pleasant, as are the many activities offered here, and you can rent a scooter easily for convenient transport around.ation is great, by the river and close to nature. The room was clean and comfortable, the overall environment was elegant, and the location was excellent. Right outside the door were West Street Pedestrian Street and the Xiao Lijiang River. The view from the hotel terrace was beautiful. You could rent a scooter and explore for a whole day. Plus, the service was warm and attentive. I was very satisfied with my stay.

I am traveling with three elderly people in my family who are 200 years old in total. The hotel is located opposite Yuanbao Mountain and it is relatively convenient to drive. My family is quite satisfied with the room. It's clean and tidy, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a nice view. The three young girls I met at the front desk were very attentive in their service. The mung bean porridge in the evening and breakfast in the morning were more suitable for the elderly. recommend

First off, the location is absolutely superb, right by the Li River. It's just a few hundred meters from the dock where the cruise from Guilin disembarks, and it's also very close to West Street, making evening strolls incredibly convenient. The room's style is both rustic and fresh, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and all the facilities are complete. The view from the outdoor window is full of greenery, and sitting on the balcony, enjoying the river breeze, truly feels like a vacation. The restaurant downstairs is a must-visit in Yangshuo, and staying here means you can skip the queue. The dishes are affordably priced, and I highly recommend everyone to try it!
