"The smart rooms are quite new, and the breakfast is decent. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer mountain views. My child wanted to go up the mountain, and the staff kindly accompanied them all the way up a rather steep, unpaved hill. There are newly planted fruit trees on the mountain, and the owner told my child to come back when they're older, and the trees would be bearing fruit – the peach trees are still smaller than the child! The service staff are wonderful and very enthusiastic. The owner is responsible for drops-offs to scenic spots and the bus station. The scenic area is full of restaurants. Huangguoshu Scenic Area is fantastic!"

"This stay experience is really full! The location of the hotel is very good, it is especially convenient to go out to take a taxi, eat and go shopping. The first feeling of entering the door is clean, there is no dust on the ground, bathroom, window sill corner, towels and bath towels are dry and odorless. The mattress is moderately firm, the pillows are very comfortable, sleep well overnight, and the sound insulation is very good. The front desk staff is attentive, the procedures are fast, and the questions are answered patiently. The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking – no complaints there! However, because the bungalows are located on the mountain, we did encounter a few small bugs. When it rained at night, the raindrops hitting the roof above our heads were a bit noisy. The shallow end of the pool isn't really for swimming, as it only comes up to an adult's knees, so it's more suitable for kids. The deep end, on the other hand, is too deep to touch the bottom, which makes it feel unsafe for non-swimmers – a real dilemma! The evening campfire and iced tea experience was truly wonderful. The roasted sweet potatoes, roasted tofu, and roasted chestnuts were all delicious. There was also a live singer until 9 PM, which was very pleasant. The food at the restaurant was also very good, especially the homemade cucumber water and carrot juice, which tasted incredibly pure. This guesthouse is also fantastic for photos – every shot turns out beautifully! Plus, it's right next to Baling Bridge, and Dripingtan Waterfall is just below.

To all the staff at Huangguoshu Yaojia Fanshe Cliffside Boutique Homestay: Our entire stay at the homestay was filled with warmth and thoughtfulness at every turn. We were truly touched and wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude through this letter. First and foremost, a special thank you to our butler, Cao Cao. She was always available, helping us carry our heavy luggage up to our room halfway up the mountain. She handled every big and small matter meticulously, always thinking of everything for us. She was incredibly reliable and attentive. We also want to thank Manager Tian. Even before we arrived, she sent us detailed travel information, proactively provided contacts for car services, and meticulously explained the itinerary for our current and next destinations. She planned our trip in advance with exceptional care. Finally, a big thank you to the two lovely service ladies who proactively came to our room to change our bedsheets and pillowcases. Their attention to detail made our stay comfortable and reassuring.

We booked a room with a waterfall view, and to our surprise, the hotel's own waterfall viewing platform was right next to it. After spending the afternoon at Tianxing Bridge, we had dinner right there on the hotel's platform. The view was absolutely priceless; what we ate hardly mattered. We chose this hotel based on many guest reviews, knowing its advantages, but experiencing it firsthand truly saved us from unnecessary detours. The 'God's eye view' of the great waterfall is right outside the hotel's main entrance, to the right. It's less than a kilometer's walk, so there's no need to follow online guides suggesting you walk from Doupotang. If you have a reservation for Water Curtain Cave, head towards the great waterfall from the hotel's VIP通道 (VIP access). Don't buy the downhill elevator ticket, as this entire path is downhill and offers views you'd miss from the elevator. When you see the Water Curtain Cave sign halfway down the mountain, go there first. The exit of Water Curtain Cave leads you across a suspension bridge. If you're early enough and the staff haven't started their shift, you can cross the bridge directly to the bottom of the great waterfall for a front-on view. Once staff are on duty, reverse walking on the bridge is prohibited, so head towards the elevator. This path is flat. Walk to the elevator exit and then go down to the great waterfall. After enjoying the great waterfall, cross the suspension bridge towards the elevator and buy an uphill elevator ticket. If you want to return to the hotel, absolutely do not follow the park signs for the exit; that's the great waterfall visitor center, where you'd catch a bus to other scenic spots.

The hotel is large, the rooms are nice, the breakfast is plentiful, parking is convenient, and there's a food street downstairs where you can find all kinds of local delicacies, which is very convenient. The only downside is that there are trains passing by at night, which can be a bit noisy.

This hidden gem of a guesthouse tucked away in the mountains was such a pleasant surprise! The private forest swimming pool is truly the highlight – the water is crystal clear, surrounded by towering trees and stone walls, with lush greenery everywhere. Lounging by the pool or swimming feels like being in a natural oxygen bar. The architecture is an eco-friendly stone and wood style, creating a tranquil and secluded atmosphere. The amenities are excellent too, with a large car park equipped with EV charging stations, making it stress-free for those driving. The guest rooms feature large floor-to-ceiling windows, so you open them right up to greenery. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer great privacy. The staff provide gentle and attentive service. There's none of the city noise, just the sound of leaves rustling in the wind. It's the perfect place to escape the summer heat and relax, ideal for both swimming and unwinding. It's definitely on my list for a second visit!

The room was clean and tidy, the service was excellent, the environment was great, and there was even a back garden. The breakfast was plentiful, and the hotel also offered specialty wood-fired chicken and roasted whole lamb, both of which tasted very good.
