"To be honest, the accommodation environment, hygiene, and room furnishings were all quite good, and having a driver to take us to the scenic spots was a plus. The bunk beds were a bit hard; we had to add an extra comforter to make them comfortable, but the kids liked them. The breakfast standard was a bit low, just okay.
I lost a room key and they asked me to pay 30 for it. This is the first time I've encountered such a situation after staying in so many hotels. We eventually negotiated a lower fee, but it was still a bit annoying."

"Recently stayed at this hotel, all aspects of the experience exceeded expectations. I stayed in the same price room, the shower water was normal, the hot water was continued to be stable, and the bathing experience was very good. The water pressure and water temperature of the pipeline are occasionally affected by the peak of water use. If there is an abnormal situation, the hotel staff is very efficient in handling the problem. The hotel has complete standards in all aspects, worthy of its own positioning, and I am very satisfied. Anonymous UserThis internet-famous guesthouse truly lives up to its reputation, with a total of 24 rooms. The biggest drawback is the number of stairs and the lack of an elevator, but everything else is excellent!
Location: It's situated next to the Balinghe Bridge in Guanling, about a 15-20 minute drive from the main Huangguoshu scenic area.
Ambiance: It's a popular guesthouse located in a small, charming village. The air is filled with the scent of mugwort. The 4th-floor observation deck is perfect for watching both sunsets and sunrises. You'll hear roosters crowing in the morning.
Facilities: Be prepared to climb stairs, as the highest floor is the 4th. There is a dedicated luggage elevator for your bags. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the air conditioning is powerful but a bit noisy (earplugs are provided by the hotel). There's a self-service laundry room with two washing machines and two dryers, along with laundry pods.
Service: The butler-style service is prompt and friendly. I really appreciated the small farewell gift upon check-out.
Cleanliness: Very good.
Restaurant: They offer a buffet breakfast, à la carte lunch, and dinner requires advance ordering and reservation, with a notification when it's ready. The cocktails at the bar are excellent.

Our entire stay at the homestay was filled with warmth and thoughtfulness at every turn. We were truly touched and wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude through this letter.
First and foremost, a special thank you to our butler, Cao Cao. She was always available, helping us carry our heavy luggage up to our room halfway up the mountain. She handled every big and small matter meticulously, always thinking of everything for us. She was incredibly reliable and attentive.
We also want to thank Manager Tian. Even before we arrived, she sent us detailed travel information, proactively provided contacts for car services, and meticulously explained the itinerary for our current and next destinations. She planned our trip in advance with exceptional care.
Finally, a big thank you to the two lovely service ladies who proactively came to our room to change our bedsheets and pillowcases. Their attention to detail made our stay comfortable and reassuring.

lijy07We booked a room with a waterfall view, and to our surprise, the hotel's own waterfall viewing platform was right next to it. After spending the afternoon at Tianxing Bridge, we had dinner right there on the hotel's platform. The view was absolutely priceless; what we ate hardly mattered. We chose this hotel based on many guest reviews, knowing its advantages, but experiencing it firsthand truly saved us from unnecessary detours.
The 'God's eye view' of the great waterfall is right outside the hotel's main entrance, to the right. It's less than a kilometer's walk, so there's no need to follow online guides suggesting you walk from Doupotang.
If you have a reservation for Water Curtain Cave, head towards the great waterfall from the hotel's VIP通道 (VIP access). Don't buy the downhill elevator ticket, as this entire path is downhill and offers views you'd miss from the elevator. When you see the Water Curtain Cave sign halfway down the mountain, go there first. The exit of Water Curtain Cave leads you across a suspension bridge. If you're early enough and the staff haven't started their shift, you can cross the bridge directly to the bottom of the great waterfall for a front-on view. Once staff are on duty, reverse walking on the bridge is prohibited, so head towards the elevator. This path is flat. Walk to the elevator exit and then go down to the great waterfall. After enjoying the great waterfall, cross the suspension bridge towards the elevator and buy an uphill elevator ticket. If you want to return to the hotel, absolutely do not follow the park signs for the exit; that's the great waterfall visitor center, where you'd catch a bus to other scenic spots.

Guest UserThe hotel is nestled on a hillside, offering absolutely breathtaking views. From my room, I could see both the Baling River Bridge and the surrounding mountains. The infinity pool boasts an incredible view of the Dishuitan Waterfall.
The service was outstanding. When we couldn't get a ride from a remote scenic spot, even though it was peak season and they were incredibly busy, the owner still drove out to pick us up and bring us back. We really appreciate that! It was such a lifesaver.

The subway station is right downstairs, and the high-speed rail station is only 15 minutes away, so catching an early train is no problem. Even more commendable is the soundproofing; even in rooms facing the street, it's exceptionally quiet at night, ensuring a good night's rest. The private forest swimming pool is truly the highlight – the water is crystal clear, surrounded by towering trees and stone walls, with lush greenery everywhere. Lounging by the pool or swimming feels like being in a natural oxygen bar.
The architecture is an eco-friendly stone and wood style, creating a tranquil and secluded atmosphere. The amenities are excellent too, with a large car park equipped with EV charging stations, making it stress-free for those driving. The guest rooms feature large floor-to-ceiling windows, so you open them right up to greenery. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer great privacy.
The staff provide gentle and attentive service. There's none of the city noise, just the sound of leaves rustling in the wind. It's the perfect place to escape the summer heat and relax, ideal for both swimming and unwinding. It's definitely on my list for a second visit!

This camp is very large and the environment is OK, but some facilities feel a bit broken when walking inside, the maintenance is not good, and no one cleans the fallen leaves behind. When I passed the car, I found that the ditches that passed the water were rotten with two big holes. The car can just walk from the two holes. It's a pity to me.
The good thing is that this hotel is right next to the attraction, that is, about 100 meters to the visitor center.
If the service attitude is good, the facilities inside are not good, and some equipment in the bathroom is old and damaged.
The best part is that the car can be parked at the door of the house.
