This internet-famous guesthouse truly lives up to its reputation, with a total of 24 rooms. The biggest drawback is the number of stairs and the lack of an elevator, but everything else is excellent! Location: It's situated next to the Balinghe Bridge in Guanling, about a 15-20 minute drive from the main Huangguoshu scenic area. Ambiance: It's a popular guesthouse located in a small, charming village. The air is filled with the scent of mugwort. The 4th-floor observation deck is perfect for watching both sunsets and sunrises. You'll hear roosters crowing in the morning. Facilities: Be prepared to climb stairs, as the highest floor is the 4th. There is a dedicated luggage elevator for your bags. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the air conditioning is powerful but a bit noisy (earplugs are provided by the hotel). There's a self-service laundry room with two washing machines and two dryers, along with laundry pods. Service: The butler-style service is prompt and friendly. I really appreciated the small farewell gift upon check-out. Cleanliness: Very good. Restaurant: They offer a buffet breakfast, à la carte lunch, and dinner requires advance ordering and reservation, with a notification when it's ready. The cocktails at the bar are excellent.

This B&B is very close to Huangguoshu Waterfall scenic area; you can take a shortcut. The room is spacious and well-equipped. The owners are kind and enthusiastic, and they can help with transfers. The breakfast is also quite good, and the rooftop terrace offers views of the surrounding area.

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The owner provided excellent service. Since it was the off-season and there were vacant rooms, the owner generously upgraded our room and even offered free shuttle service to and from the scenic area, which saved us a lot of hassle. Each room also comes with a washing machine, which was quite unexpected. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that the light switches in the room were a bit confusing, and the toilet flush was so strong it caused some splashing. I hope the hotel continues its great work and dedicated management.

Had a fantastic experience! The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful. They helped with our luggage and even gave us beautiful sunflowers when we checked in. The swimming pool was super photogenic, and the overall views were breathtaking. Waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the waterfall across the way was so refreshing. I'll definitely be back in the summer to take a dip in that pool!

Excellent! It's very close to Huangguoshu Waterfall, and Marriott, being a big brand chain, really lives up to its reputation. However, our second stop in Xingyi was a complete disaster. We got ripped off by a hotel there and left as quickly as we could. I'll never go back to Xingyi again; it's a small city, and the hotels are a mess. We booked a room 10 days in advance at the Vienna Hotel in Xingyi, drove hundreds of kilometers to get there, only for them to inexplicably sell our room to someone else at a higher price. Our whole family was left with nowhere to stay. It was a desperate situation and left me with a terrible impression of the city.

Traveling during the summer, the hotel's location is excellent, just 300 meters from Huangguoshu Waterfall Visitor Center No. 3. The facilities are new, and there's free underground parking with charging stations. The new two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite is perfect for families. Breakfast was also good; we ate at 7 AM and then strolled straight to the scenic area, directly to the main waterfall, and it wasn't crowded at all. Overall, the service was on point, and the price was reasonable.

Booked two rooms! Highly recommend ~ comfortable rooms, attentive service, and a convenient location! We had a lot of luggage from our road trip, and they thoughtfully helped us load it into the car. You should try the tea in the hotel lobby, it's delicious. They even refilled our hot water kettle, which was very much appreciated ~ The location near the scenic area is also super convenient ~ there's a VIP service that picks you up and drops you off at the hotel! Walking to the nearby Zangxiangge restaurant for a meal is also a great option!

The inn I found temporarily during the Qingming Festival is located in Yunshan Village, which is very convenient. The owner and his family are very hospitable and they organize concerts in the evening, which is very pleasant. Most of the shops in the village are still under renovation. The place is not big and relatively quiet. You can go directly to Yunjiu Mountain to visit Yunjiu Temple next to it. At this time, you can overlook the rapeseed fields of Yunfeng Tunbu, which is very beautiful. The only thing is that you can't drive to the top of the mountain. You need to walk a mountain road to get in, but it's not far. Overall, it's good. I will come again next time if I have the chance.

I stayed in a twin room. The room was spacious and well-organized, with two neat beds and soft, comfortable bedding that ensured a good night's sleep. The window offered an open view of the surrounding scenery, and the room had good natural light and ventilation. The amenities were comprehensive; the air conditioning ran steadily, and facilities like the TV and kettle were all available, meeting everyday travel needs. The decor was simple yet elegant, and the room was clean and tidy with good maintenance down to the details. The soundproofing was decent, and the environment was quiet and not noisy, allowing for undisturbed rest. The only minor drawback was that the bedding was a bit wrinkled; it would have been better if it had been smoothed out. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. The facilities are complete, the environment is quiet, and it's convenient for travel and dining. It's suitable for business trips or temporary stays, making it a top-notch choice for accommodation in the area. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip.
