Indigo Properties in Phuket

I stayed in a city-view room in mid-July, which cost 645 per night after tax. I was allocated a room on the 5th floor that faced the main street and had an irregular-shaped balcony, so I guess I was a bit unlucky. The soundproofing in the room was better than I expected. Aside from the occasional noisy motorbikes speeding by, it was generally quiet, and I wasn't disturbed while watching TV, using my phone, or sleeping. I was pleasantly surprised by the Harman Kardon Bluetooth speaker in the room. Connecting my phone and playing music sounded fantastic, and it really enhanced the trendy, nightclub-like ambiance of the room. The amenities were comprehensive. The minibar offered complimentary capsule coffee, and the bathroom had a speaker for listening to TV. The large sink in the bathroom was very convenient for washing clothes, and the bedding was also very comfortable. The shops surrounding the ground floor of the hotel were excellent: a 7-Eleven (iced Americano for 9 baht, buy one get one free), a Watsons, a Michelin-starred Chinese bistro, a Korean BBQ restaurant, and a bar with live music in the evenings. There was also a small durian stall outside the Korean BBQ place, where I bought a Golden Pillow durian for 18 baht/kg, which wasn't too expensive. It was incredibly convenient to walk to Patong Beach, just two or three minutes from the hotel lobby if you turn left. Jungceylon shopping mall was about a 10-minute walk away, with many commercial streets, restaurants, bars, and massage parlors along the way. If you love to eat and drink, this location is perfect. Finally, I have to praise the front desk staff. I mistakenly thought I'd dropped my phone at the front desk during check-in. The two front desk attendants immediately and enthusiastically helped me check the surveillance cameras and make calls. When I eventually found my phone in my room and told them, the young lady who answered the phone was genuinely happy for me, seeming even more concerned than I was. The breakfast was also delicious, with both à la carte and buffet options. The à la carte menu included four egg dishes, such as omelets and borscht with egg, four main dishes like fried noodles, meatball porridge, and curry rice, and four types of sausages. There were also four coffee options like Americano, latte, and cappuccino. The buffet spread was extensive, featuring yogurt, bread, cakes, soups, noodles, steamed dim sum, ice cream, milk, juices, and more. The ice cream brand was Ete, which is equivalent to a large 470ml tub costing around 40 baht in a convenience store. Overall, the experience was great, and the service was excellent. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning ladies were very friendly. For a price of 600+ baht, it was definitely worth it.
