The B&B is located in a quiet small Dai village. Although it is outside Gasa Town, it only takes less than 10 minutes to drive to the center of the town, which is convenient for self-driving tours. The B&B is as clean as a business hotel. Surrounded by ancient trees and bamboo forests, it has a new rural farmhouse style that makes people happy. It was the mango season when I went there, and there was an unlimited supply of mangoes because they were grown by the owner of the B&B. The only drawback is that there is no elevator and you have to go to the rooftop terrace for breakfast (the sun is so bright, you need to wear sun protection when eating breakfast in summer). The owner is very welcoming, and the rice noodles and tea eggs made by the landlady are extremely delicious.

The room wasn't big, but it was very comfortable, with a tatami tea room and a balcony. We even brought our dwarf rabbit to put on the balcony. The key point is the hotel's excellent location; it's just a few minutes' walk to the flower market and right next to Phoenix Square. In the evenings, there are firecrackers and dancing, creating a lively atmosphere until about 11 pm – a strong New Year's atmosphere that adults and children alike enjoyed. We were traveling with a child and didn't have enough blankets, but after asking the front desk, they quickly brought us an extra one. They were also very helpful with tourist information. Ailao Mountain is definitely worth a visit.
