However, the facilities are too old, the bathroom is quite small, and you have to stand right next to the toilet to shower. The drainage is also poor, and it takes a while for the water to drain off after you shower, making it inconvenient to wash your hands.

The location is perfect for sightseeing. It is in the old town so very close to Confucius Temple and Confucius family residence. There are a lot of restaurants close by. Ok for a night, but the highlight was the host. Very kind and simpathic, he took me to a very local place to have breakfast, then told me a couple places to visit and even let me leave my backpack inside the room as there weren't many guests staying at the hostel. Also the cats are super cute and friendly, making a plus to the place.
