I had an amazing stay at Yunhe Meet B&B. The Minsu is located in the village not far from the scenic spot ticket office. Water was warm and shower had good pressure. Everything is very clean. Auntie took me to the park entrance with her electric mini truck to help me catch the morning bus. The room was overpriced at 65 USD for a simple stay, though this could be due to the Chinese holidays and high demand. Realistically, such a place shouldn’t cost more than 20 USD. On the positive side, the hotel is newly renovated. The room looks good, the toilets are new (though not fully functional), and the showers were fine. However, I had to request towels, as they weren’t provided by default. Breakfast was decent, and the staff are clearly trying their best to be helpful and provide good service. That said, the place overall needs better maintenance, and the elevator should definitely be upgraded—it currently stops at every floor, which is inconvenient.

The owner was incredibly welcoming, constantly sharing travel tips and showing us some photos he'd taken. In the morning, we saw an unidentified tree outside, laden with small fruits. After asking the owner, we learned it was a wild panda yew! Apparently, there are many wild yew trees in this area. He even gave us a little educational information about yew trees and picked a few for us to taste. He told us the seeds were bitter and poisonous, so we shouldn't eat them. The fruits were smooth inside and had a slightly sweet taste – a truly delightful experience!
