Pet Friendly Hotels in Geneva

This hotel apartment is perfect. It's located on the second row by the river, very convenient. The rooms are fully equipped, with a kitchen, automatic tea and coffee maker, and even a photo printer! There are two bathrooms. The service is excellent, and parking is convenient with a private underground parking garage.

I stayed at Hotel Suisse Geneva during my time in Geneva, and the standout feature of this hotel is its location. It is literally right across the road from the main train station, which makes it incredibly convenient whether you’re arriving by rail, heading to the airport, or planning day trips. Being so close to the station also means excellent public transport connections, but what I found even more useful is that most of Geneva’s main sights are within easy walking distance. You can comfortably reach the lake, the Old Town, shops, and restaurants without needing to rely on transport, which makes exploring the city simple and efficient. The hotel itself is comfortable and practical, with clean rooms and everything you need for a short city stay. It’s not overly luxurious, but it’s well maintained and does the job perfectly if you’re planning to spend most of your time out exploring Geneva. Because of its central location, it’s a great choice for both short stays and stopovers. It also works particularly well if you have an early train or a tight schedule, as you don’t need to factor in extra travel time to get to the station. I would highly recommend Hotel Suisse Geneva for anyone prioritising convenience and location. If you want to be right in the centre of everything with excellent transport links, it’s a very practical and reliable choice.

I stayed for 3 nights in June, during an unusually hot spell. The room had air conditioning, and it worked well if you tilted the bathroom door towards the room. Not having a fridge in the room was a bit of a hassle, but I could get free ice from the front desk. The location was super convenient, almost directly connected to Geneva Central Station. My room unfortunately faced the recycling collection point, so the view wasn't great, but it was kept clean so it didn't bother me too much. The breakfast restaurant on the 8th floor seems to only be open for breakfast and offers only a continental spread. I was a little disappointed that there were no vegetables.

This right next to Geneva Train station and 2 mins walk. All buses stop right in front of the hotel. It is so convenient, especially with 2 big luggages and 80 years dad. The hotel lobby is big ans 3 elevators. The rooms has all we need except the kettle was hiding in a cupboard which we only found it when we leave the room. The hotel view pretty good from our room.

Room 35, close to the road, the noise is a bit loud. It is recommended that you propose a room that does not face the street when you book. Everything else is OK, breakfast is just like that, Swiss hotel breakfast is almost the same.

Seriously, the only good thing about this place is its proximity to the train station, and that's it! We were put in a separate building that didn't even have an actual air conditioner, just some kind of swamp cooler. The facilities are incredibly old and run down; the wooden doors are peeling paint everywhere. The safe was broken, and the sliding glass door to the shower was also broken. You literally had to stand in the bathtub to shower, which was a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

This hotel is closed to the Geneva International Convention Center that’s just within 10 minutes walking distance. Besides, there’s also bus routes such as bus no.8 that can go to the city centre for shopping and the lakeside to see the beautiful fountain. After finishing shopping and sightseeing in the city centre, it’s also okay to take the same bus no.8 to come back to the hotel.

Surrounded by villages and fields, the air is OK, there are several free parking spaces, the hotel is not 24-hour service, get off work at the point, and you can only have breakfast at about 8 o'clock in the morning. The room is small, especially on the top floor. Be careful not to be hit on the forehead. There are several rooms that have no air conditioning. The air conditioner is also a floor-to-ceiling air conditioner. The sound is very noisy.
