Pet Friendly Hotels in Geneva

This hotel apartment is perfect. It's located on the second row by the river, very convenient. The rooms are fully equipped, with a kitchen, automatic tea and coffee maker, and even a photo printer! There are two bathrooms. The service is excellent, and parking is convenient with a private underground parking garage.

I booked a single room for one night and a double room for another. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the front desk staff was very friendly. When I told them I'd left my room key inside, they jokingly told me I could sleep at the front desk instead! The hotel's location is excellent; you can get there directly from the train station by taking the underground passage and then an elevator. Breakfast options were a bit limited, but the quality felt good, and the crepes were nicely made. The single room was quite small, with just enough space by the window to open a 28-inch suitcase. The double room, however, was much larger and even had a mini-fridge. The downside was that the beds were too soft, which seems to be a common issue in Europe, and the curtains let in a lot of light, which is tough when it gets bright so early in Geneva during summer. Most importantly, it has air conditioning! Air conditioning! Air conditioning! It was an absolute lifesaver! Seriously, what on earth were those places I stayed in Zurich and Interlaken thinking, having no AC at all?!

The hotel's location is excellent, just across the street from the train station. The soundproofing in the rooms is exceptional; you can't hear any outside noise when the windows are closed. You can even see the railway from the elevator, which gives the hotel a cool industrial vibe.

Room 35, close to the road, the noise is a bit loud. It is recommended that you propose a room that does not face the street when you book. Everything else is OK, breakfast is just like that, Swiss hotel breakfast is almost the same.

I stayed for 3 nights in June, during an unusually hot spell. The room had air conditioning, and it worked well if you tilted the bathroom door towards the room. Not having a fridge in the room was a bit of a hassle, but I could get free ice from the front desk. The location was super convenient, almost directly connected to Geneva Central Station. My room unfortunately faced the recycling collection point, so the view wasn't great, but it was kept clean so it didn't bother me too much. The breakfast restaurant on the 8th floor seems to only be open for breakfast and offers only a continental spread. I was a little disappointed that there were no vegetables.

1. The hotel is right next to the train station, just 10 meters from the exit. 2. There's a COOP and another larger supermarket at the station, making it very convenient to grab food and drinks. 3. Upon check-in, each guest received a complimentary day-pass for Swiss public transport, valued at 9 Swiss Francs, valid until 5 AM the next morning. It can be used for buses and ferry boats on the lake. 4. The hotel rooms have air conditioning, air conditioning, air conditioning! Geneva has been incredibly hot these past few days, with bright sunshine even at 7:30 PM. Air conditioning was truly a godsend. 5. We booked an apartment-style room, which came with a kitchen fully equipped with cooking utensils, dishes, and cutlery. Prices in Switzerland are very high, so being able to cook our own meals was both delicious and saved us money. 6. Next to the hotel is a self-service laundry room. Washing costs 4.5 Swiss Francs and drying is 1.5 Swiss Francs. While not cheap, it was a time-saver and convenient to wash and dry several days' worth of clothes all at once. 7. The hotel's breakfast was incredibly varied. The female staff proactively asked if we wanted coffee and would frequently cook eggs and bacon on the spot, serving them fresh to guests. 8. This was the cheapest hotel we stayed at during our seven-day, six-night trip in Switzerland, costing just over 1200. Although the facilities were quite basic, it was considered affordable given the extremely high prices in Switzerland. Plus, the room included disposable slippers and two complimentary sparkling waters, which other hotels didn't offer.

This hotel is closed to the Geneva International Convention Center that’s just within 10 minutes walking distance. Besides, there’s also bus routes such as bus no.8 that can go to the city centre for shopping and the lakeside to see the beautiful fountain. After finishing shopping and sightseeing in the city centre, it’s also okay to take the same bus no.8 to come back to the hotel.

Surrounded by villages and fields, the air is OK, there are several free parking spaces, the hotel is not 24-hour service, get off work at the point, and you can only have breakfast at about 8 o'clock in the morning. The room is small, especially on the top floor. Be careful not to be hit on the forehead. There are several rooms that have no air conditioning. The air conditioner is also a floor-to-ceiling air conditioner. The sound is very noisy.
