GGuest UserOn my last day in Europe, I looked forward to a long-established hotel! I capped off my trip with a perfect stop by Lake Geneva. Strolling along the shores of Lake Geneva for my final night, the lake breeze, tinged with the crisp coolness of the Alps, etched a profound understanding of why travelers place their trust in established hotels. While they may not be breathtaking in every detail, they always manage to comfort and sustain a wandering soul through the finest details. The hotel's location is a perfect balance: just a five-minute drive from the airport, with multiple free daily shuttles, it's a truly wonderful and reassuring experience.
AAnonymous UserHotel Bernina was very clean, great location right opposite the train station with many trams and buses to connect to other parts of the city. Also within walking distance to the lake and old town, with Geneva being a very walkable city. Check in was very fast and efficient, and the hotel itself was quiet. Room size is adequate and reasonable for a major city. Not many amenities in the hotel but this is fine as there's many things to do in Geneva
GGuest UserAlexis from reception is AMAZING! He went the extra mile to make my friend comfortable despite not being able to speak a foreign language. Alexis made sure additional requests such as massages (as the hotel does not have an in-house spa) and courier pick-ups were as smooth as possible. What a man!
GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay.
Pros: location, very helpful front desk, lovely breakfast
Cons: no fan in the bathroom, the hairdryer would stop working every two minutes and I’m pretty sure my AirPods were stolen.
WWinnie/This kind of old-fashioned absolute landscape hotel is actually not an ideal place to enjoy the services of a five-star hotel. Because the hotel's service attitude varies from person to person, it feels very uncomfortable and shows their unprofessionalism and lack of empathy for earthlings, which is a pity! The so-called civilization and quality reveal many narrow local cultures in them. This is very out of line with Switzerland - the seat of the United Nations! Not neutral either!
JJust Olya/Good hotel if you want to be on the promenade but some 30 minutes walk to the station. However hotel can help with the taxi if you need one. Rooms were clean and airconditioned. Good hotel however for my feeling it’s more of a 4 stars than 5.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very conveniently located, with shopping malls, cafes, and pharmacies nearby... It is on the same line as the Four Seasons Hotel, and next to the lake, it is very pleasant to walk or run along the lakeside~ In short, the location is still very good~
The hotel room is a bit cramped, with a room of more than 30 square meters, and the bathroom space is OK. The room can only accommodate a bed and a sofa... The welcome fruit is very fresh~ Maybe I am used to large rooms, it looks a bit tight😓 But it may be considered good in Europe~
The best thing is the breakfast. The restaurant is on the street. In the morning, have a cup of coffee, eat something, look at the street view, and the birds fly around...
Refreshing, this is the leisurely European slow life🌞
