I had a fantastic stay here with my friends! The cleanliness was top-notch, and the location couldn’t have been better so convenient for exploring the area. The service was excellent from start to finish, with friendly and helpful staff. The amenities were great too everything we needed was available, and we really enjoyed our time. Would definitely recommend it for a group trip!

Wir sind aus persönlichen Gründen nur einen Tag geblieben, obwohl wir für etwas länger gebucht hatten. Die Besitzerin hatte vollstest Verständnis dafür und hatte unsere Buchung geönder und uns für die restlichen Tagen das Geld zurpck erstattet. Das fimde ich sehr lieb und wirklich Kundenfteundlich. Wir haben einen kleinen Betrag Aufgrund der Verwaltungsgebühren, die die Vermieterin voraus bezahlen musste auf Grund unsere Änderung bezahlt. Im Vergleich zu den Betrag für die zusätzlichen Tage ist es aber nicht nennenswert. Dafür bedanke wir uns sehr.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area, which provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the pier and close to Cat Co beach, making it convenient for sightseeing and enjoying the local attractions. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, with stunning views from both my balcony and the rooftop cafe. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery was truly a highlight of my trip. The staff at the hotel were exceptional; they were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. They helped arrange transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba and even organized a fantastic day trip to Ha Long Bay for me. Breakfast at the hotel was enjoyable with a variety of options available, including made-to-order eggs that were delicious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and homely, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend View Point Anh Quan Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Cat Ba!

My friend and I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel in Cat Ba! The atmosphere was incredibly cozy, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A huge shoutout to the manager, who went above and beyond for us. She was always attentive to our needs and incredibly helpful, even taking care of booking our bus tickets to our next destination. Another major plus is that they have an ATM right on-site and accept card payments for absolutely everything, which is super convenient and made our trip so much smoother. If you are visiting Cat Ba, this is definitely the place to stay!

This is a homestay-style hotel and overall, I think it’s great value for money. The hosts are very warm and helpful. They even prepared a home-cooked breakfast and cut fruits for guests, and their fish soup was really tasty. The place seems quite new, so everything was clean and well maintained. The location is within walking distance of the main town area, although personally I found it a little far to walk. With a rented bike, it’s actually quite close. They provide bike rentals for guests at 150,000 VND for 24 hours. The bikes are not the newest, but the rental process was very fuss-free, both for collecting and returning the bike, (but over here you need a motorbike driving licence) If you’re venturing out at night, just take note that the streets around the area can be quite dark. I actually decided to shorten my stay as I wanted to explore Hải Phòng city instead of spending more time on the island. The female host was very helpful and efficient in arranging everything for me. She even helped me get onto a bus and speedboat 🚤, and I managed to return to the city earlier than expected. Downside is the surrounding is really quiet. If you don't intend to rent a bike it might be a long walk. Overall, a really pleasant stay, especially if you appreciate friendly hosts and a more homely atmosphere. Recommended for those who wants a laidback holiday homestay!

The location is pretty good, with many cafes nearby. It's just a few minutes' walk to the very center of town. There's also a shuttle bus to Cat Ba Island not far from downstairs, so it's convenient to just walk over and catch it.

The guy at the front desk was very nice. Motorbike rental was 100k. There were many places to eat nearby, but breakfast was no longer available recently.

A very colorful hotel, it looks like a work of art! We only stayed a couple of nights, but we actually regretted it. It was clean, tidy, and cleaned every day. Breakfast wasn't very extensive, but it was delicious, and you could find something to satisfy your hunger. The bar upstairs has a limited selection, but even if a cocktail isn't on the menu, you can order a mix to your liking. 👌 We only tried a small amount of food in the cafe, but what they prepared was superb. 🔥 The pool was very cold, but clean and not overchlorinated.

The room itself was new, clean, and very comfortable, with a strong WiFi connection. The mattress was excellent, and the bedsheets were soft and cozy, making it easy to relax. However, the pillows were a bit too low, and unfortunately, no extras were available when we asked. Communication with the property via messages was smooth, but the reception desk was often unmanned during the day, making it hard to get in-person assistance. A few issues impacted our stay: - The desk chair was peeling, leaving debris on the floor (and sticking to our clothes) every time we used it. - Housekeeping only came once during our five-night stay, which was disappointing. - Early morning construction noise. Drilling and building work started very early, disrupting our sleep. While the room itself was great, the lack of maintenance, inconsistent housekeeping, and noise disturbances made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been.

Pay attention to the counter staff, obviously already booked and issued tickets, when you arrive at the on-site counter, you will say that you have to pay once you see the order, and you have insisted on more than 10. It took a minute to say that I saw the order, but I didn’t pay or you have to pay once. I was deadlocked over there and ignored her. I finally said I saw it. But the order is all written on it. I still pretend to die. I don’t want to admit that I have always wanted to pay again on the spot. As long as there is a ticket, I will insist on not giving up. The other party can’t get it. I can only say that the counter staff wants to kill 2 times. The feeling is really bad. I will choose another home next time.
