The best hostel of my entire trip! From the cleanliness of the rooms and comfortable beds to the kitchen and the wonderful staff—everything was perfect! I spent 11 nights at this hostel and didn't want to leave at all. At Oversleep Cat Ba, I was an important guest. my bed linen was changed every three days (or sooner at my request). There were always fresh towels at reception. Delicious food and the nicest chefs. At reception, you can resolve any issue. From renting a bike to withdrawing cash (I transferred money to a Vietnamese bank via Q-code and they kindly gave me the entire amount in cash) No stress or complications. I extended my reservation several times and didn't have to change beds; they organised everything for me. Sensitive and responsible. Papa - here are my words of love from the bottom of my heart, for your care. For every morning and evening When I came to the pool bar, I always smiled when I saw you! Thank you for your kindness. For making me feel at home away from home (this is not just a slogan, it is the motto of the entire hotel. The rooms and beds - a separate love Nowhere else have I found such comfortable and ergonomically correct beds Not only a locker, shelf, lamp and socket, but also a large amount of space on the side of the bed where you can conveniently lay out your things (and hide your backpack in a large locker under the bed) No mess and always clean. Clean and functional showers and toilets. Plenty of space, no unpleasant odours. Importantly, there is space to work. The bar has enough space for fun evenings and for work. Uninterrupted Wi-Fi, excellent speed. The hostel observes quiet hours. For breakfast, I always asked for extra bread with my meal, and I was never refused. In the end, I didn't even have to ask; the staff knew me and offered me bread themselves. So nice! Thank you! If fate brings me back to this island, I will return to you without hesitation!

My wife and I went on a free and easy trip to Cat Ba Island in Vietnam. After looking online, we found this place to be really great. The hotel is clean and hygienic, just like back home in China. Most importantly, it's brand new, having opened in 2026. It's a villa-style hotel, very close to Cat Ba town, just over 1 kilometer away. At night, you can go out to buy seafood and have it cooked. If you want to tour the island, you can rent a motorbike from the owner for 150,000 VND per day. The owner also prepared breakfast for us and was incredibly friendly. For Chinese travelers, this is definitely the top choice – you won't regret it. Chinese people don't trick Chinese people!

The hotel is quite new, and the overall environment is comfortable with high-end facilities. My stay was initially very pleasant. However, something very troublesome happened during check-in. Without my confirmation, the front desk staff directly charged my room fee to a previously saved credit card (did the card machine automatically store the credit card information?). However, I had already prepaid my room fee through Trip, so it shouldn't have been charged again. And they shouldn't have processed the charge without my confirmation and signature. Fortunately, I noticed it immediately and reported it on the spot. But then they said they couldn't process a refund immediately and it had to go through the finance department. So, I asked them to send an email confirming the double charge and promising a refund, as it would be quite inconvenient to deal with a double charge after leaving the hotel. This incident prevented me from enjoying my breakfast properly. I suggest the hotel strengthen its payment procedures. Any credit card charges or debits should always be confirmed with the guest first to avoid double billing and to build trust in payment security among travelers.

1. Отель находится от центральной набережной в 20 минутах ходьбы, чтобы дойти до центра вам надо сначала подняться в горку, а потом спуститься. Если на центральной набережной сплошная стройка, то возле отеля тихо и спокойно. Также из отеля открывается отличный вид на бухту. 2. Отель предлагает экскурсии, билеты на автобусы и лимузины, можно покушать и любоваться пейзажами на последнем этаже. Можно отдать вещи в стирку. Предлагается аренда мотобайков. 3. Цена номеров очень привлекательная, в центре за такой номер с видом на стройку с вас возьмут в два раза больше. В цену номера входит простой завтрак. Как итог: в 2025 это один из лучших вариантов на Катба в своей ценовой категории.

The best hotel in Cappadocia! The staff service was top-notch, and their responsiveness was excellent. The location itself was superb, and the breakfast was fantastic. The gym is okay if you're looking for bodyweight exercises or dumbbells (though there's a Chris Bumstead video playing on the wall... it's just not possible with the facilities provided). But it's fine for temporary use. The pool: PERFECT!!! Even in the cold January weather, the indoor pool was enjoyable enough (why there's a foot volleyball court or ping-pong table in the middle of the pool is a mystery...). The game room: Just skip this one... it has old games, and some are broken. The kids' room: Don't expect the kids to play there for a long time. However, the location and view are a solid 6/5, which makes it totally deserving of a 5-star rating overall.

The hotel lobby is emasculate if they pot as much effort into the the rest of the hotel as the reception lobby it would be good ..breakfast was poor no fruit and the nuddles was stuck to the bottom of the tray and it’s easy to cook them..cold tea and packet coffee when most hotels in Vietnam give you good coffee as there know for there coffee . Need a good maintenance man as the furniture is good but they just need a good maintains man to paint and keep up good maintenance but to be fair this seems to be the norm in Vietnam when it’s not hard to use a bit of decorators cork and paint with out hitting everything around what there meant to be painting. Builders working above my room and they tried to blame it on next door and the tv had very bad reception it was all fuzzy when I told them they said they will send someone up but no one came. Same as a few things and it could be a great hotel

This hotel is very convenient, the room is large, quite clean, the environment is good, convenient for all kinds of travel, a few hundred meters to the beach, the boss is nice and enthusiastic, next time I will come again.

The guy at the front desk was very nice. Motorbike rental was 100k. There were many places to eat nearby, but breakfast was no longer available recently.

I needed a place to stay when the ferries closed due to a typhoon and this was a neat spot to find on short notice. The comment I am making is based on the amount of money being paid for Vietnamese standards so the room has everything you need and the bed is comfortable, however I felt the blanket was quite thin. The menu for food was only in Vietnamese. There are snacks and drinks in the room that are cheap, but I was hesitant on the bottled water when I had seen it was opened already and I wondered if it was just refilled instead of being a new bottle? The reception staff were very kind, helpful and lovely to speak with. The breakfast was small in variety and the English Breakfast I got was what I feel a way to save costs by giving ham instead of bacon? Again only due to the price being paid did I expect something of better quality in some regards. However I am grateful for a place to stay when I was stuck. There are restaurants nearby, a very good western bar with good food and lovely local vietnamese seafood spots. It is in walking distance to the beach.

Pay attention to the counter staff, obviously already booked and issued tickets, when you arrive at the on-site counter, you will say that you have to pay once you see the order, and you have insisted on more than 10. It took a minute to say that I saw the order, but I didn’t pay or you have to pay once. I was deadlocked over there and ignored her. I finally said I saw it. But the order is all written on it. I still pretend to die. I don’t want to admit that I have always wanted to pay again on the spot. As long as there is a ticket, I will insist on not giving up. The other party can’t get it. I can only say that the counter staff wants to kill 2 times. The feeling is really bad. I will choose another home next time.
