We stayed for 2 nights here in the top floor family room. We had a nice large terrace facing the mountain. The room was spotlessly clean, the mattress was good and there was enough lighting all around. Plenty of free bottled water was provided. The bathroom was huge with both a shower and bathtub. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with pancake and pho and fresh fruits. The service was very good, whenever we had a query, we were promptly addressed via WhatsApp with the owner. The location is just right for us, who want to be a few mins walking distance to the main street and restaurant and is quiet enough away from loud music from the tourist bars and restaurants. We highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Catba. Thank you to the owner!

We had an amazing stay in this boutique hotel. The hosts were super nice and really treated us the best they could. At first the location seemed a bit away from the center, and without grab we were sceptic how to get to the center. But the hosts were super helpfull and brought us by car and picked us up as well. We even lend 1 scooter for an evening for free! The room was super new and had everything we needed. Good bed, big smart tv (for resting day), great shower, good AC and small balcony. We got homemade Vietnamese breakfast everyday. Even when my girlfriend asked for just fruits they made an amazing platter full. These people were so nice and asked nothing in return. We wanted to pay for the rides but they refused. The hotel is in a super new area and the streets are only accessible for people who need to be there, which makes it very safe as well. Just note that if booking a tour they cannot pick you up in front of the hotel, but just 3 minutes walk away, so no problems.

The best hostel of my entire trip! From the cleanliness of the rooms and comfortable beds to the kitchen and the wonderful staff—everything was perfect! I spent 11 nights at this hostel and didn't want to leave at all. At Oversleep Cat Ba, I was an important guest. my bed linen was changed every three days (or sooner at my request). There were always fresh towels at reception. Delicious food and the nicest chefs. At reception, you can resolve any issue. From renting a bike to withdrawing cash (I transferred money to a Vietnamese bank via Q-code and they kindly gave me the entire amount in cash) No stress or complications. I extended my reservation several times and didn't have to change beds; they organised everything for me. Sensitive and responsible. For making me feel at home away from home (this is not just a slogan, it is the motto of the entire hotel. Clean and functional showers and toilets. Plenty of space, no unpleasant odours. Importantly, there is space to work. The bar has enough space for fun evenings and for work. Uninterrupted Wi-Fi, excellent speed. The hostel observes quiet hours. For breakfast, I always asked for extra bread with my meal, and I was never refused. In the end, I didn't even have to ask; the staff knew me and offered me bread themselves. So nice! Thank you! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the pier and close to Cat Co beach, making it convenient for sightseeing and enjoying the local attractions. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, with stunning views from both my balcony and the rooftop cafe. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery was truly a highlight of my trip. The staff at the hotel were exceptional; they were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. They helped arrange transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba and even organized a fantastic day trip to Ha Long Bay for me. Breakfast at the hotel was enjoyable with a variety of options available, including made-to-order eggs that were delicious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and homely, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Flamingo Bay Resort in Cat Ba has a fantastic location, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding scenery and nearby attractions. The setting is definitely one of its strongest points. During my stay, there were quite a lot of kids around, which made some areas feel a bit noisy and less relaxing than expected. Also, the outdoor pool was under renovation at the time, which was a bit disappointing since it’s one of the amenities I was looking forward to. Overall, it’s a solid choice for its location, but the experience may vary depending on what you’re looking for in terms of atmosphere and available facilities.

The room was clean and had everything you needed. The staff was friendly and eager to help. The hotel and room design is a bit unique, reminiscent of '90s chic, but that's not a big deal. The location is a bit off the main streets, but the area itself is fine. I was happy with everything.

I booked a spacious room for only 450k VND/night, and late check-out was 50k VND/hour. The receptionist was super friendly, and the security guard was nice. The hotel is clean and the location is convenient. Even though there was road construction, I walked, so I still had a shortcut. It's within walking distance to the food area on Le Loi street and Luong Van Can market. There's also a pretty good snail stall near the hotel.

The guy at the front desk was very nice. Motorbike rental was 100k. There were many places to eat nearby, but breakfast was no longer available recently.

Очень колоритный отель, выглядит как произведение искусства! Мы оставались всего на пару ночей, но даже пожалели об этом. Чисто, аккуратно, убирались каждый день. Завтрак с не очень большим выбором, но вкусный и можно найти что-то, чтобы не голодать. Бар наверху с небольшим выбором, но даже если коктейля нет в карте, то можно заказать микс на свой вкус 👌 Еду в кафе попробовали совсем немного, но то что приготовили - было супер 🔥 Бассейн был очень уж холодным, но чистый и не перехлорированный.
