🚔 Traveling is convenient: board at Ao Makham Pom Pier at 2:00 PM. Departures are on time. Parking is convenient in the lot next to the pavilion behind Da Daeng. Look for the crab statue.
🛥️Boat: Bring flip-flops and shorts, as boarding and disembarking requires a bit of walking into the water.
🏝️ Arrive at the island at 2:15 PM. Discuss the rules, get your keys, pack your bags, and head out for a swim. Electricity is available from 4:00 PM to 10:00 AM. A generator is required for use on the island.
📱True and DTAC have good signal, but AIS is unavailable.
🌊 Activities: Free kayak, jet ski 1000 baht/round the island, banana boat 500 baht, snorkeling 500 baht.
Rooms: Everything is provided: towels, hair dryer, brush, comb, super cold air conditioning, hot water, and a kettle, but no refrigerator because the generator is used.
Dinner at the resort is available, but the taste is Chinese-style and greasy. For us, it's a no-go.
Breakfast was also a no-go; it was small and not tasty, but there's nothing for sale on the island. If you don't buy it and bring it with you, you'll have to reluctantly eat it.
In the evening, take a short hike up the mountain to enjoy the sunset. The view is beautiful.
You can take beautiful photos from every angle with a drone, but there's a bit too much trash floating in the ocean. Chinese tourists probably come every day, but they're not too noisy. Recommended for photographers, those seeking peace and quiet, those seeking activities, and those who enjoy the sea.
