I really loved my stay at Ureshino Onsen Taishoya. The hot spring was amazingly smooth, the rooms were clean and beautiful, and the staff were so warm and attentive. A truly relaxing and memorable experience — I would love to come back again. ♨️

Need a car to reach the place, but it's easy to find via GPS. The hosts have been very friendly and guided us well. The kids had fun walking the goats, feeding the chickens, and helping with the cooking. It's a good place to destress and feel nature once again.

I was a little surprised by the small portion size, but I was satisfied with the accommodation and the hot springs. The only slight downside was that, as someone used to heated floors, my feet were a bit cold. They were so kind and waved goodbye until my car left, which really touched my heart. ^^ I will visit again with my family next time.

It is a bit difficult to drag the big luggage from the parking lot to the hotel lobby, but the waiter who comes out to greet you will not help you carry the luggage. The room was big and clean, with one night and two meals. Both meals were rich and I was so full that I couldn't eat any more. There are public indoor and outdoor baths. The hot spring water is of very good quality, and your skin will feel smooth after a bath. Free drinks are available in the lobby, and you will be given a small bag of rice when you check out. The shabu shabu dinner was served in the room, and just like what the online reviews said, the whole room smelled like food, which was not very pleasant. But overall I am very satisfied.

24.12.1.토요일에 1박을 하였다. 우레시노 주말 숙박은 1인이 지내기에는 가격이 너무 비쌌다. 그래서 호스텔을 알아보다가 이곳으로 결정했습니다. 밤 10시가 되어 도착하게 되었고 호스트께서 반갑게 맞아주셨습니다. 직접 음악을 녹음하신 CD를 선물로 주셨으며, 저녁은 먹었는지 물어보시기에 아직 먹지 못했다고 하니 직접 야끼니꾸 덮밥을 사다 주시고 직접 데워주셔서 감동이었습니다. 같이 먹으라며 반찬과 녹차도 직접 타주셔서 감사했습니다. 방은 도미토리를 예약했는데 2인실 방을 주셔서 너무 편안하게 잤습니다. 또한 온천을 하라며 욕실에서 목욕물을 받아주셔서 덕분에 온천도 할 수 있었습니다. 시설은 오래되어 불편할수 있지만 호스트의 애정어린 말과 행동들이 여행자에겐 좋은 추억이 되었습니다. 우레시노에 간다면 또 묵겠습니다. 주차비는 500엔 입니다.

The best thing was the hot springs and breakfast. The hot spring water was smooth and the temperature was moderate. I feel the skin smooth after the hot spring. It's small, but there's an open-air bath. Breakfast was a small fireplace, so I cooked tofu soup with pork and small fish. The fish was so delicious, and although he doesn't speak English, he explains how to eat it in Japanese. I'm told to unload eggs in rice and mix them with sauce, but I don't like eggs on the day, so I can cook them in hot spring tofu. It was a night of Japanese atmosphere.

I don’t know if Japan is like this, but there is a free drop-off service when I check out. Overall, this stay is good. Next time I will go to Beppu Hot Springs to try it.

I encountered a problem booking through TripAdvisor this time. When I arrived, they said my room had already been given to someone else, and then gave me a regular, cheaper room. It took an hour of negotiation to find a compromise. The hotel also told me not to book through these platforms next time because they go through a second-hand travel agency in Japan, which can easily lead to errors. In the end, I still didn't get the room I wanted. I hope this won't happen again. The hot spring water here is very good, but the large public bath is not very big.

This hotel has a history of 130 years. There is an indoor and outdoor pool for girls, and one for boys outdoors. There is no private soup in the old hotel. The boss opened a new restaurant opposite the hotel. It was opened on the day we arrived. You can make reservations for the private soup in the new restaurant. Fortunately, the enthusiastic boss took us around. It turned out that the private soup in the new hall is just a big wooden barrel! The ground floor of the new building is used as a guest house, and the second floor is the home of the boss’s daughter. I personally feel that it is more traditional stone masonry. The skin of the hot spring blisters is very slippery. After returning to Shanghai, my friends said that my skin is in good condition, haha When we left, the owner and his wife went out to see them off in person, a very humane shop! I made a reservation after reviewing the guest’s comments that his meal is very good. Sure enough, the dinner and breakfast were very good, with Saga Wagyu beef for dinner and tofu soup for breakfast! Very full and full~~
