I really loved my stay at Ureshino Onsen Taishoya. The hot spring was amazingly smooth, the rooms were clean and beautiful, and the staff were so warm and attentive. A truly relaxing and memorable experience — I would love to come back again. ♨️

Need a car to reach the place, but it's easy to find via GPS. The hosts have been very friendly and guided us well. The kids had fun walking the goats, feeding the chickens, and helping with the cooking. It's a good place to destress and feel nature once again.

I was a little surprised by the small portion size, but I was satisfied with the accommodation and the hot springs. The only slight downside was that, as someone used to heated floors, my feet were a bit cold. They were so kind and waved goodbye until my car left, which really touched my heart. ^^ I will visit again with my family next time.

This is my third time in Ureshino. I stayed at a different ryokan in Kaki, and this one was great value for the price. We booked a room with breakfast included but no dinner, and everyone in my group was very satisfied. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean for the price. The only downsides were that the private bath was a bit expensive and the tatami mats felt a bit old. However, the hot spring water is truly Ureshino quality; it is the best. The surrounding environment is also wonderful for a walk. There is a Totorogi park, so I highly recommend it if you want a relaxing trip. However, food options are somewhat lacking. Since the shops are small, they fill up quickly. Reservations are a must, haha.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff service is very good, the hot spring is very good, and the stars can be seen at night. The food is a little bit inferior, the ingredients are very average, I'm disappointed

A little distance from jr station because I didn't make an appointment in advance to pick up the hotel at the station, so I can walk there (here is a full score for the staff of Kobe Station. The staff of Hino Onsen Station is indifferent) The one-berth and two-eat room is the largest in this Japanese tour. It can also be seen that the newly renovated meal is generally good. The soup pool is a bit small. There is an indoor and outdoor outdoor scenery. There is no Kobe beauty. I thought the Japanese service was superb, but I didn’t even send my luggage into the room. I don’t know if Japan is like this, but there is a free drop-off service when I check out. Overall, this stay is good. Next time I will go to Beppu Hot Springs to try it.

My stay at Ureshino Onsen Yoshidaya Uchiroji Hondori (also known as Yadoya Uchiroji Hondori) was a tale of two extremes in the charming hot spring town of Ureshino, Saga Prefecture. The hotel was modern Japanese-style with smart check-in system. The twin room was spacious, impeccably clean, and exude serene comfort, making it a perfect retreat. The private onsen facilities truly shine— It was a free slot with 40 mins, which could be booked once via QR Code at the room. Ureshino's famous sodium-rich hot springs, renowned as one of Japan's top three for beautifying the skin, deliver silky-smooth water that leaves you feeling rejuvenated. However, the meal plan was a major letdown. I sent an email to the hotel to confirm my booking and stated I did not eat beef before. The customer service replied I had to pay extra per person in order to change the meat option. For over JPY 38,000 per night including breakfast and dinner, we anticipated premium kaiseki cuisine or traditional served Japanese dinner set. Instead, only a bento box with cold salad and an underwhelming beef and egg pie that felt mismatched for the price. Tragically, my husband experienced vomiting shortly after, likely food-related, which overshadowed our trip. And the breakfast was also disappointing, which was only cold sandwiches with a cup of tea or milk. Thus, I strongly recommend the hotel clearly states the exact contents of dinner and breakfast plans on booking sites—including detailed menus or photos—and offers flexible options, such as plan changes or alternatives, if guests fall ill from the food. This transparency and adaptability would greatly enhance the experience and prevent frustration.

Drove there. Our room is located first floor with private onsen bath in the room. No shoes are allowed when you first step into the Ryokan. Slippers are provided. Staff are friendly and nice, the room is clean and spacious. Food was typical Japanese breakfast. The private in-house onsen bath was awesome but sadly on the second day, the onsen bath tub started to leak hot spring water from all sides of the bath tub and from the wall and there is no way to stop the water gushing out! As a kind gesture, the manager gave us some private time on the private onsen (require booking)

Overall, it had an old-fashioned feel, but it was cozy and nice. It was a great experience to be able to sleep in a tatami room, and I was satisfied with the Kaiseki meal. The only downside was that I went expecting to find a private family bath, but there wasn't one. There were bugs, possibly mosquitoes, flying around in the open-air bath, so I couldn't stay long. It was nice to experience a small Japanese town, but it was a bit disappointing!

This hotel has a history of 130 years. There is an indoor and outdoor pool for girls, and one for boys outdoors. There is no private soup in the old hotel. The boss opened a new restaurant opposite the hotel. It was opened on the day we arrived. You can make reservations for the private soup in the new restaurant. Fortunately, the enthusiastic boss took us around. It turned out that the private soup in the new hall is just a big wooden barrel! The ground floor of the new building is used as a guest house, and the second floor is the home of the boss’s daughter. I personally feel that it is more traditional stone masonry. The skin of the hot spring blisters is very slippery. After returning to Shanghai, my friends said that my skin is in good condition, haha When we left, the owner and his wife went out to see them off in person, a very humane shop! I made a reservation after reviewing the guest’s comments that his meal is very good. Sure enough, the dinner and breakfast were very good, with Saga Wagyu beef for dinner and tofu soup for breakfast! Very full and full~~
