Guest UserIt was my first time staying at the shukubo, but in a good way it was a very cozy inn without being ”formal” or ”stiff”. The food was just right and delicious. The story of the priest in front of zazen was also very good. It was a feeling that life experience was oozing out.

Excellent hotel for travelers. Storage lockers in an easy to get to location when you get there early or when you check out and want to keep exploring the city. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfy. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The breakfast ladies really do an excellent job!
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Great hotel.

上州武尊に登りに来た際に利用しました
とても明るく
清潔感もよく
オーナーも親切な素敵なアットホームな宿です。
シャワーもしっかり湯量が出ます
キッチンも清潔で
次回は使ってみたいです
音が気になる方は、耳栓は必要です。
ドアの開閉や廊下を歩く音は響きます。
また 友人を誘い 1階のバーも
利用したいです

Excellent experience! The hotel offers free ice and coffee with milk, among other things. The location is also great, about 500 meters from Takasaki Station, and the surrounding area is quite lively. We paid 5000 for parking, which I think was a mistake...

駅近で周辺に食事出来る所たくさんありました。高崎駅近くのホテル探しましたがインバウンドの影響？か週末シングル10000円↑の所ばかりでこちらのSuzuya Hotelに決めました。他のレビューでウォシュレットがないというの見ましたがやはりあったらいいなと思いました。漫画がたくさんあり一人で滞在するには良かったです。

recently stayed at the Route Inn Takasaki Hotel, and it was a delightful experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered a stunning view of the river. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided, including a well-stocked minibar and luxurious toiletries, added a nice touch. The hotel's restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet was varied and satisfying.

Guest UserEven though it's old, you can tell that they take care to keep it clean. Unfortunately, all the side dishes at the breakfast buffet were cold. It's a shame because it was in a container that can be heated with solid fuel 😢

Guest UserUsing Google Navigation to navigate to the hotel's location leads you to a one-way street going the other way.
Otherwise, the location is excellent, and the parking lot is ample.
The facilities are excellent for a three-star hotel, with all the basic amenities expected, and even a microwave in the hallway, which is a very thoughtful touch.
The entire process is largely unmanned, including check-in. The service staff at the restaurant were very friendly.
