This hotel is a bit far from JR Oita Station, and it can be tiring to walk back and forth if you're using it as a transfer point between Beppu and Yufuin. It's an older hotel that's been renovated, but the furniture is still old, and the bedding comfort is just average; the duvet was too thick. The room size is quite large for Japan. We specifically booked a room with a sofa bed for our child, but it was small and hard, and our child refused to sleep on it after an hour. There's a large 24-hour supermarket near the hotel with good prices, which is convenient for buying daily necessities. Across the street is a school, and the Nikko Hotel is not far next door. Oita Art Museum and the pedestrian street are within walking distance.

Room were ok clean and not that small. Convenient Stores are next door, breakfast were good. No smoking area and it needs to be a few hundred metres walk to was a bit frustate for those who need. If room needed to be cleaned, you need to put the sign in front of your door. Clean and change towel isn't default - they mentioned this as norm in japan but other seems not to be. I arrived the hotel a little late the parking lot at the hotel were full needs to go up to the front desk and get the map and it's like 5 mins walk from the hotel is a little struggling. The other day tho I got the parking at hotel makes it much more convenient. You might wanna arrive a little early especially on the first night.

After all, it's a business hotel, so the rooms aren't very large, but they have all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel, including a microwave in the lobby, which you can use for free. We stayed in a rock bath, Japanese and Western style room. The hotel room was very comfortable and spacious. 2 queen size beds and Japanese tatami seating space. The outdoor bath is much larger than the one shown in the picture, and can easily accommodate the two of us, while the children can soak in the hot springs in the bathroom. The room is equipped with 2 sets of yukata per person, and also provides facial cleanser, moisturizing cream, hair gel and hair straighteners, etc., which is very considerate! I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I have the chance!

The staff here was super accommodating and they assisted with any changes that I had to do. The hotel does not have any lifts for the non-smoking rooms.

Opinions from a female asian solo traveler. Around 10 mins walk from Oita station, acceptable distance to me. Have convenient stores in the area but not many restaurants, better go back to Oita station or Amu plaza oita for food. The front desk is very helpful. The hotel is a bit small and old but very clean and quiet. Particularly appreciate their shower water is hot enough. I stayed on the 4th floor and could hear street sounds occasionally but acceptable. Overall, affordable prices and needs are fulfilled.

There are many foreign staff members, but we didn't have any particular problems dealing with them. There is a height limit in the multi-story parking garage, so the type of car you can use may be limited. If you have a small, maneuverable car, you may not be able to fit it in because cars these days are so tall. It takes time to get your car out of the garage in the morning, so we recommend going early.

The hotel is small and beautiful ～ convenient, comfortable and clean environment ～ A good choice for affordable prices! Public spaces and facilities are not bad ～ Bathroom accessories are complete ～ Toilet is clean and spacious ～💕
