La Gare Oita

It's easily accessible, about a 10-minute walk from Oita Station, but supermarkets and convenience stores are far away. I suppose that's understandable considering it's cheap, but the facilities and cleanliness...

The hotel is a bit far from the station, about a 10-minute walk. The room type is quite unique; it seems to be a converted apartment, a little old but the room is quite large.

I use this hotel as my regular lodging when I travel on business. It's also close to Oita Station. It has everything you need for business, includes breakfast, and is very reasonably priced. I know this may sound harsh, but you can't go wrong.

This is an old hotel located in the heart of Oita. Parking is cheap at 600 yen, and the location is great. Rooms are also affordable. However, because it's an older hotel, it feels a bit worn. Please note:

I was surprised that the room was larger than I expected and the bed was big too. The breakfast buffet was satisfying in both taste and quantity. There was no dinner, but there were plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute walk of Oita Station, so it wasn't a problem. As for amenities, in addition to those provided in the room, there were many items available to borrow free of charge from the front desk, so there were no problems either. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

The room was spacious, but the hotel had a dated feel, with uneven floors and bathroom fixtures. There was a washing machine, but it wobbled a lot when running. The front desk staff were friendly, and breakfast was included (although the selection was limited). Considering the price, it was still acceptable overall.
