Had a very nice chill vibe during my stay.
Thank you staff 田中美’代’ ( I forgot the last word of her name, she served us dinner on 16th Jan 2026), we appreciate her food serving with patience as we ate slowly, and she helped to take a great photo for us.
I’d recommend this hotel if you can drive to there. e

GGuest UserVery classic Japanese-style old house, good location, next to the ancient street, the landlord is enthusiastic.
Note that if you live in a row, the landlord may lock the hotel after 10 o'clock during the day, so there is no way to go back to the hotel to take a nap. You need to bring the things you need to use during the day to go out.
Also recommended is the Ran cafe next door, which is operated with the homestay.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very comfortable and hygienic, the room is very spacious, the boss is also very polite, there are many taverns and canteens around, the convenience store is about 200 meters, about 15 minutes walk from Haogen Station, half an hour walk from Wuhu, Haogen eradication outside the city, You can also visit Wuhu and Saohe Mountain City. You can take a tram to visit the Battle of Guanyuan in half an hour. Especially the viewing of the exhibition hall is worth enjoying. It is less than an hour from Kyoto by tram. Friends interested in Japanese history and culture are worth a visit.

Very comfortable pajamas There are various cream lotion. and facial masks,5 pieces per person per night,rich breakfast,the door of the room is a code lock,only 5 minutes away from the train station,7-eleven is right next to it

GGuest UserWe stayed at Villa Costa during our Biwaichi tour. The hotel was perfect for this, as it's close to the lake and easily reachable from Kyoto by bicycle in a day. The room was very clean, and they provided plenty of toiletries like skin creams. The bathroom also had a bathtub, which was very relaxing after a long day of cycling. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and even though it's a romantic hotel, we didn't hear any unpleasant noises or anything like that. All in all, a very pleasant stay and highly recommended.

To put it bluntly, it has a Showa feel. The behavior of the employees is not bad. They will lend you a bicycle to go to the convenience store.
