micacatThe breakfast is very good and the hot spring experience is also very good. There was no one when I went there, it was just a charter. The location is right by the lake, comfortable and quiet, there is a 7-11 next to it, you can do some simple purchases. The owner of the hotel is a kind and amiable grandmother, who can recommend local activities to us in simple English. I am very grateful to her for taking care of her for a few days.

Very classic Japanese-style old house, good location, next to the ancient street, the landlord is enthusiastic.
Note that if you live in a row, the landlord may lock the hotel after 10 o'clock during the day, so there is no way to go back to the hotel to take a nap. You need to bring the things you need to use during the day to go out.
Also recommended is the Ran cafe next door, which is operated with the homestay.

We loved our stay here. Highly recommended for couples passing through Hikone to spend a night here. Would be nice to see the hotel offer easier check in/out options for overnight guests and multi-night bookings as it is well worth the small premium over a standard hotel for those who are looking for the extra amenities while visiting the region.

大人の家族3人で泊まるには、部屋が広くて彦根城も見えてすごくよかったです。
お風呂も広くて疲れが取れます。
セカンドハウスマンションなのかな？という変わったつくりで、決して新しくはないけど、不自由ないように手入れされていて快適です。
朝食はひと口サイズのパンが何種類もあり、コーヒーも美味しくて満足できました。
ドライヤーがなくて電話してしまいましたが…テレビ台の中にありました。洗面台やわかりやすいところに置いてあればよかったかなと思います。
チェックアウト後に荷物を預かってもらい、冷蔵したいお土産のお漬物をお願いしたら、小さいので大丈夫ですと言ってもらい、アットホームで親切な対応に感激しました。
駅に近いので観光にとても便利で、コスパがよいホテルです。
