Stopped for a night here during our roadtrip and we wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is a traditional ryokan and the lobby is nicely decorated with some really old furniture.
Breakfast is delicious with local fish and ingredients, I wish we had order dinner the night before.

Room clean
Stair case climb up to 3rd floor is a hassle.
Lounge area is clean and big and get wifi.

Shunzi555You can see it from the Fukuyama Station platform; it's about a 7-8 minute walk. Take the exit in the opposite direction from Fukuyama Castle, turn right, and keep walking. I especially liked the breakfast at Toyoko Hotel—simple but delicious. I enjoyed the rice, sausage, pickled vegetables, and fried fish. It's a standard business hotel; you can check in at the machine, and there's a Chinese language option. I think if you're not looking for a resort hotel, Toyoko is definitely a good choice—economical and includes breakfast. The rooms aren't large, but the twin rooms are decent.

Container houses in the Fukuyama area, including R9 container houses, are almost everywhere in Japan. I have stayed there before when I traveled to Okinawa. They have late-night snacks and microwaveable food when you check in. There is coffee and hot tea at the counter. I recommend it to everyone.

Very good, it is an adult hotel, free breakfast. Parking is available downstairs. However, it is an adult hotel. After entering, there is a vending machine-like thing to pay for, and no one can contact the accommodation throughout the whole process. Need breakfast to call

It is very good for business use because it is close to the station and the price is cheap. Cleanliness is normal or slightly inferior considering the price. It is along the Shinkansen elevated, so it makes running sound even at night.
