The food was absolutely delicious, and both the stone bath and the main bath were large and very relaxing. The lounge also had a drink bar and donuts, which was a great bonus. You can even feed the carp, so it's a fun place for families with small children.

A classic old-school modern hotel with ryokan-type service. The room is huge and has excellent views of the river. On a good day, it should be possible to see Mount Fuji as well. There is also big onsen area with an outdoor bath area. Dinner is served on the ground floor restaurant and it was a delicious multicourse meal which includes really good wagyu steak with wasabi shoyuzuke. Dessert also includes the region's famed grapes. Breakfast was served buffet style with selection of Japanese and western items. I drove to the hotel with a rental car. It is not too far from a station on a local line but I recommend driving around to explore instead. The patrons to the hotel also seemed more local.

The room is very large in Japan, and the experience is very good. The hot spring environment is beautiful, and the outdoor one is especially comfortable. The hotel is said to be the best in the area, and the buffet has a lot of choices. I will choose this hotel next time.

We were incredibly lucky to get room 111. As soon as we opened the window, there were many clever koi fish. Whenever someone was on the balcony, they would immediately come over. There was fish food available at the hotel entrance; it was self-service. We were very touched. We had a five-year-old child traveling with us, and the hotel staff always made sure to include the child's utensils when preparing cutlery in the restaurant, even though we hadn't ordered dinner for him. We will definitely come again. Thank you.

This was an absolutely wonderful hotel, starting with their welcome service and continuing with every thoughtful detail. Although the exterior felt a bit old, the rooms had been renovated, making for a very comfortable stay. The meals were incredibly generous and delicious, both for breakfast and dinner. The bath was a little on the cool side, but the abundance of amenities made it very pleasant. My wife and I talked about how we'd love to revisit this autumn for our group trip.

For family of 4, the room of this hotel is EXCELLENT! So comfortable, cozy, spacious, clean and safe! Complete with ALL AMENITIES we need, plus they have complementary drinks and snacks, Kid-Safe environment plus the night lights at the backyard of this room is STUNNING!!!! We went to Yamanashi to visit Mt. Fuji and super thankful that we got to stay in this Hotel, 15-20mins drive away from Lake Kawaguchiko, where the best photo spots for Mt. Fuji, they also have in-hotel food and beverages for sale, easy to transact, and would really feel at home because of the Privacy and Security plus Cozy ambiance ☺️ Will definitely come back here!!!

Convenient to drive to, plenty of parking spaces, the service is all Japanese, very warm, polite and reliable, unlike new hotels where there are foreign workers affecting the experience The hotel is old but well maintained. The area is larger than expected. There is a Japanese garden for taking photos. The food is good and tastes better than expected. There is a cherry blossom street near the Ishiwa Onsen Street.

It is a traditional hot spring hotel. We stayed in the old wing this time. I heard that one side is newly renovated. The old wing really has its age and the rooms have a bit of a smell. In mid-February, we made a reservation for the family bath on the 5th floor, but the floor was damaged and had not been repaired. It was dangerous for children to pass by. The front desk had limited English and could not fully communicate. There are not many tourists, and overall I am very satisfied.

A nice Onsen hotel with hotspring facilities in the building. Book this room as it was the few that was vacant. Rooms are limited on the Saturday. My room is on the 3rd floor and it is right next to the dining hall. We share the corridor is rather noisy till roughly 9pm. Only after dinner and cleaning up is done the noise settle down. If you are one that sleeps early, do book other floors and not this. Onsen is good with indoor and outdoor. My room is spacious and has a toilet. Toilet do not have showers, only a sink. Facilities and amenities are a little old, but still overall a clean place.

A very good hotel with complete facilities, neat and clean rooms, all daily necessities, convenient location, courteous and considerate staff, I will book again next time.
