Exceeded expectations overall! The facilities are excellent, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. Great value for money, definitely recommend staying here. The environment is lovely, the front desk staff are friendly, and the hygiene is top-notch. It's also very convenient for getting around.

This accommodation, located on the outskirts of Malang, is ideal for short-term travelers. Convenience stores and restaurants are nearby. The staff are very friendly, and public facilities like the restaurant are free to use. They are regularly cleaned, ensuring a clean and pleasant stay. Security is also excellent, thanks to the QR code entry system. However, the distance from the train station and the complex interior make it a potential fire hazard. Furthermore, single rooms don't allow you to open even one suitcase in any space other than the bed.

I booked this hotel for my family. The location is good. It's near Kayutangan and other must-visit places in Malang. However, the staff needed to improve their service. As an example, they didn't inform the wifi password upon arrival. Due to limited parking space, the security officers informed us to leave our car key, but forgot to ask the other guests, so we should wait before we can go out from the parking lot. We think it's better and safer if the guests keep the car key in the receptionist desk and registered the car identity number.

During my stay, I found the hotel's location to be very convenient, as it is close to malls, markets, and many dining options. However, there were a few disappointing aspects. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor, the room cleanliness could be improved, and surprisingly, there was no iron available for guests. This is the first time I have experienced something like this at a hotel.

The hotel itself is in the city centre and within a mall which is convenient but it can get very crowded (and jammed) on weekends. The staff are polite and understanding. We had to pay 100k IDR deposit for our rooms but since we were carrying sleeping kids, they let us check into the rooms first. Room is clean but old and basic. The room does not have safe deposit box, unmovable shower head. Basic amenities are dental kit, sanitary bag, shower cap, and lotion. Shampoo and shower gel are 2-in-1 and stuck on the wall. There’s only bath towel (no hand towel). Sound-proofing can be improved since the corridor is not carpeted. Breakfast is free for kids 5 and below. Taste-wise it’s ok. Apart from egg station, salad, waffles and bakery section, the rest are very much Indonesian style.

I booked Hotel Tugu Malang for my friends as a surprise honeymoon gift, and they absolutely loved it! From the moment they arrived, they were impressed by the beautiful setting and warm hospitality. This hotel was great for the money. Good food. Great staff. I don’t think it was in the Best place, but it wasn’t the worst either . There is a couple of fruit stands, right outside of the hotel, which was great to have. The hotel is nice and spacious.  Easy access for taxi pickup.

Good location just by the railway station, the room is clean but very standard. Its a good place for one night or if you just sleep and then go out and don't come back until night time for sleep. It's not a room you want to hang out in. But as I said, it's clean and I don't have any complaints about the room it self, its just a bit boring. Good value!

The location is superb and very strategic, close to Malang's culinary center, making it easily walkable everywhere. Breakfast comes with a voucher, allowing you to choose your meal. The room was incredibly spacious with two queen beds.

The hotel is located next to the main road in the city center, which is very convenient to find. It is about one kilometer away from the train station. There are many restaurants on the road above the train station. The hotel room is standard and big enough with a bathtub, but it's too old and poorly maintained. It looks a bit dirty and needs to be renovated.
