AAnonymous UserOne of the best hotels in Semarang. If you look for best service and facilities in town regardless of the price, the best options are either Tentrem or Padma. Nice breakfast. Nice place. Great pool. Connected to Mall but the mall doesn’t offer much. Not many tenants.

OOn the earthhave stayed at this hotel quite often and have always been satisfied with the overall experience. However, during this visit, perhaps due to the holiday season, the hotel was fully booked and noticeably more crowded than usual. Unfortunately, I could clearly hear the TV and conversations from the neighboring room, which made it difficult for me to get a good night’s sleep.
I understand that noise can be a structural issue and not entirely within the hotel’s control, but it was still disappointing as rest is a key part of any stay. I hope the hotel can take extra measures to minimize noise disturbances, especially during peak periods. Aside from this issue, my stay was generally pleasant, but this experience left me a bit let down.

IIsmael AbbasThe hotel has a great design. Although the rooms are small, the beds and pillows are clean and comfortable. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the rooftop. The downsides are that there is no elevator, the staff is not well-trained, there is no restaurant, the parking lot is very small, and there are no slippers in the rooms.

SSharon PSKhas Hotel is located nearby city centre. I walked out from the hotel to the left I can go to Queen City Mall and to the right I can walk to Pollux Mall Paragon Semarang. Outside of the hotel, there are some local eateries during day time and night time. There's also a pharmacy called Apotek on the right after you walk out from hotel main entrance. There's a IndoMart opposite and the price was reasonable. Hence, very convenient. The cleanliness of hotel needs to be improved. There are some areas near clothing hanging area and bed side table quite dusty. I have to wipe it with my wet tissue. There were 2 lamps in the room one on the table in front of TV and one on the bedside table both were fitted onto the table, hence it made the space of table being blocked. The welcome drink served in a small shot glass and there was no water dispenser for hotel guest. The bathroom design was not good as after taking shower the water will flow out to the sink and toilet bowl area as the glass divider was too small to block the water from spilling out to the dry area. The shower head was fitted on top to the ceiling hence a bit hard to wash our body thoroughly. The water come down from our head directly. There was no way to adjust shower head as it was fixed onto the ceiling. Our room 318 was next to 3 Airconf compresser. Hence if other hotel guests on their Aircond, we can hear the noise so loud at night. The hotel offered a gift voucher for Grab app user but the front desk staff did not inform us. Only on our last night stay, we saw the gift voucher appeared in hotel in house TV screen outside of lobby lift. But too bad, I can no longer utilise the 10,000rp discount voucher although I being taking Grab for the past 4 days in Semarang. But hotel housekeeper was very helpful and same goes to the concierge also very friendly and helpful.

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are a bit old, and the bathroom only has a bathtub. The soundproofing isn't great; you can hear motorcycles roaring down the street at night. However, the service is good. The hotel Wi-Fi can be a bit unreliable, and they only provide large bath towels, no face towels. The bedding also seems a bit old. On the bright side, the desk design is very clever and well-suited for working.

OOase QomaraGreat experience! The location is prime, right in the heart of Semarang, and the hospitality was exceptional. For art lovers, this hotel is quite appealing as it boasts an art gallery. And the food at the Fat Elephant restaurant was great also. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserCame there to find out that my room has been cancelled. Their reason was because they are in partnership with OYO and a lot of rooms has been canceled by the ”system” so there were no rooms left for me to check in that day. They had already had a substitute hotel which I rejected.
I requested a refund in cash and they refused. They promised that the refund will be done via Trip app but when asked how does the refund work, no one could explain.
Finally I asked them again about the room availability because I was sure that they had at least a couple of rooms available. I told them that it was their responsibility to provide me with a room, even if the ones available are more expensive than what I have paid for.
Suddenly they apologised and told me that a room was available, exactly like the one I had paid for.
The rest of the stay was great.
I wish to come back and visit the hotel, hoping that such suspicious experience will not be repeated in my next visit.

MMels2012The hotel is quite old and very big, but everything is still well-maintained and in good condition. It offered good value for money for three people plus a friend. We enjoyed beautiful views of Mount Ungaran every morning. The breakfast was delicious, with a different menu offered daily – absolutely fantastic!
One thing that made us quite reluctant to move was the incredibly long walk from the reception to the elevators. The restaurant is also quite a trek from the elevators, which is understandable given how massive this hotel is. If you're staying alone, I wouldn't recommend this hotel; you might get the creeps walking around by yourself, haha!
However, if you're with a big group and kids, it's fine and not spooky. But precisely because the hotel is so huge, the distances to the elevators and restaurant are considerable, and it can feel incredibly deserted! 😭😭😱😱

the room is clean, fragrant, no cigarette smell
the amenities are quite good
the shower is smooth even though the hot water is still lacking, the flush is also strong

The waiter escorts and shows the location of the room, several times the officer was seen opening the door when guests entered/exited the hotel
The room is also quite spacious
The only drawback is ... Inadequate parking, it is better to park outside next to the hotel, so that it is easy to get in and out, if you park inside it is sometimes difficult to get out because it is blocked by cars
Hopefully in the future, the parking area can be given more attention, so that guests are more comfortable
