Room is clean and well maintained. Bathroom is clean and no mould. Room is cleaned daily. TV shows 3 movie channels plus other local and international channels. AC can be controlled via thermostat and cold. Lighting has some switches to control the mood. Buffet breakfast has western, Chinese, Japanese and local Semarang culinary. Overall we are happy with the accommodation and would come back next time.

Everyone was friendly..Staff were helpful and polite..They greeted you everytime they see you..Some even offered to assist you even though if you didn’t ask.Service was simply perfect,no complains! Gym and pool were under maintenance.Construction was going on at the main hotel.Wasn’t aware of the maintenance till you checked in (Maintenance Notice placed on room table).Maybe updates should be reflected on third party apps or via whatsapp to avoid disappointment. Wifi was poor.For a well rated hotel,this was a huge letdown.Management & maintenance should look into this.Was staying at room 806.Not sure if other floors or rooms are encountering this problem.Ended up using data roaming through my 3 days there.

It's a top choice for both business travelers and tourists. High Standard of Service and Dining: The staff were exceptionally warm and professional right from check-in. I especially want to praise their breakfast – the variety was impressive, with a wide selection of local Indonesian flavors and Western dishes, all prepared with great care. Well-Equipped Facilities, Though Showing Some Age: The room was spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Great experience! The location is prime, right in the heart of Semarang, and the hospitality was exceptional. For art lovers, this hotel is quite appealing as it boasts an art gallery. And the food at the Fat Elephant restaurant was great also. Highly recommended!

Hotel location is not really in Simpang Lima as atributed in the hotel name. Room is relatively small and just average look. Food is also just averqge, nothing special.

The hot water temperature was inconsistent, and there were hairs left uncleaned in several spots. However, the location is great and the price is affordable, making it perfectly suitable for a business trip.

The hotel is quite old and very big, but everything is still well-maintained and in good condition. It offered good value for money for three people plus a friend. We enjoyed beautiful views of Mount Ungaran every morning. The breakfast was delicious, with a different menu offered daily – absolutely fantastic! One thing that made us quite reluctant to move was the incredibly long walk from the reception to the elevators. The restaurant is also quite a trek from the elevators, which is understandable given how massive this hotel is. If you're staying alone, I wouldn't recommend this hotel; you might get the creeps walking around by yourself, haha! However, if you're with a big group and kids, it's fine and not spooky. But precisely because the hotel is so huge, the distances to the elevators and restaurant are considerable, and it can feel incredibly deserted! 😭😭😱😱

queen room type for the price of 300 thousand,,i guess like other hotels.it turns out that the position of the room below has no window size of small mattresses the dust is thin per mattress feels on the body.bad cover makes it crunchy. For the location is very strategic, close to the mall and intersection 5
