Hotels with Parking in Newbury

Ideal location for visiting local motorhome show. Room was separate to the Inn which meant we were not affected by the music being played. Room was a lovely size with a comfortable double bed, side tables and wardrobe.  A desk with a couple of drawers with tea/coffee making items and two bottles of water was also in the room. The shower was large with good water pressure and lovely temperature control. Toiletries were provided in the form of small bottles of shampoo, shower gel etc. electrical heaters were provided but were not needed during our stay.  Ate food in the Inn. The first night service was slow as table booked for seven but wasn’t asked what we wanted until quarter past eight!  It wasn’t that busy that night but that was the only negative. The food was delicious and the breakfasts were exceptional. All the staff were very friendly and we would definitely stay again if we were in that area again. I booked this hotel for my husbands birthday, I asked for a nice room with a view.  We absolutely fell in love with the room in the Manor House.  The room was perfect. It was huge & decorated stylishly.  Thank you so much. Will stay again in a heartbeat.

Big disappointment, check in at around 5pm and found out there is no electricity. it only came back at around midnight, and again at around 8am in the next morning, they lost electricity again. I don't see any efforts from the staff to ease the problem. Phone signal was bad too adding fuel to fire.

Overall pretty good. I wasn't expecting much but the room is nice and spacious, especially the bathroom. The secret garden is a pretty lovely place to hang out, and the staff was really friendly.
