The property for the accommodation was quite nice, a little cottage adjoining the pub in the carpark, the rooms was nice, however, the bathroom could do with a makeover, the tap on sink would not turn of, and the light in the dressing area to which had been reported the week before our visit and still not fixed, was flickering and then stopped working. We reported this on the Friday evening and again on the Saturday evening, to which the reply was we will have to order one, When last week?
The menus for the food for an evening meal was basic and little choice. However was very nice. The service was good and the young people were really nice and could not do enough for you.
This place is a sitting gold mine, beautiful location really nice rustic pub restaurant, but the owners do not seam to be around and lacked a front of house person.
In addition lacked a bit of music in the back ground as when there are only a few people in the restaurant if felt a lack of atmosphere.
But generally a nice place just neends a bit of TLC.
