Amazing
GGuest UserIt was an excellent stay at Scarman for me. The room I stayed in was clean, quiet and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel has a good range of food for breakfast and the selection of food for lunch & dinner was not huge but the food was delicious. I went to the University of Warwick to attend my son's graduation which the venue for the ceremony was within walking distance. To sum up, I am impressed with this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserIt was really an amazing experience at the DoubleTree Hotel. The location was not hard to locate. The environment was so clean and tidy. The receptionist welcomed us with a warm smile. The room was well furnished with daily needs. We love our stay there and will surely recommend it to our friends and family.

DDrLOPSOther than the location (on the University of Warwick campus itself) the hotel is at best like a Premier Inn or other such budget hotel. It feels and looks like a dorm. One note to anyone walking from campus to hotel: there is no direct access from Arts Centre plaza. You have to walk all the way around business school to access car park. This was very inconvenient in the rain as it added a 5 mins walk.
The room was spacious and clean, though the bathroom sink was clogged when I checked in. Resolved the next day (though the first answer I received when asking for repair was that I may have to move). On second night the hearing went out; housekeeping brought a small radiator heater… no repairman came, however. Resolved the next day.
The food was cafeteria quality (both breakfast and dining room). I recommend eating elsewhere. Bar was ok, but not great.
Overall, I would recommend a different hotel for the price, and taking a cab to campus. Sorry

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a convenient location, with Costa, McDonald's, and TGI Fridays nearby. The staff are friendly and parking is free. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. However, the hotel is a bit old, the bathroom had a bad smell, and the room lighting is very dim. Overall, the price feels a bit high for what you get.

GGuest UserI live local, but due o having housework done and me being disabled, I was advised it would be beneficial for me to be out of the house for a few days.
I picked Double Tree Hilton as they were offering the best price.
I'm so glad I did. The staff could not do enough for you, especially Wendy, she is such an amazing lady, my 10 year old son said to me how amazing and helpful Wendy was and that says it all.

RRessieMThe room was great; it had all the basics. However, the lift feels like it needs some maintenance. The check-in and check-out process was smooth. If you book directly, you can get free parking; otherwise, it’s £5 per day. They offer free apples and water in the lobby, but I wish they would keep the apples topped up, as some of them were bruised and looked old.

GGuest UserVery pleasant stay.. pub restaurant offered info on food allergies. Food was great. Rooms (I rebooked) were great, bath and shower that actually did what they said… no getting soaked trying to turn on shower. As a single female traveller, felt safe. Will rebook next visit . Staff are friendly and helpful.

RRen.nyaIt was compact, but I was able to spend quietly in a calm environment. There are also microwave ovens, cooking utensils and tableware, so you can cook simple dishes. Especially if you just sleep, there is no problem at all. I didn't get the code for the main entrance at check-in, so I was in trouble because I didn't know it. But when I contacted him by phone, he kindly responded.

GGuest UserWas a nice place in abit of a rough area but was still fine. The room was really hot which you couldn’t change and being on the bottom floor we didn’t want to keep the window open. Would have possibly stayed again but the £100 deposit you have to send before your stay they don’t send back even though they said they would. I made sure the room was mostly clean and that it would just be the standard cleaning that the cleaners had to do between each guest so I could get my deposit back but after many messages and calls they won’t send it back they just keep saying they don’t have my details even after sending it multiple times. Seemed abit weird that we have to send a deposit but as no other reviews had this issue I trusted it but if you need that money back DO NOT SEND IT.
