BBosedaReally nice hotel right next to Dortmund Hbf. Lovely room but I found it poor lighting near the sofa. I found the beds really comfy to say it was a single and the best part they have long duvets which I found amazing in keeping you warm. Has a mini bar but there is no kettle. There is a safe in the room and the bathroom can be accessed via 2-ways. The breakfast is amazing and to a very high standard. All the hotel staff are lovely and helpful. I never used the attached restaurant so cant make a comment. I would totally stay there again.

GGuest UserWhile checking out this morning the manager at the hotel said the credit card Trip.com provided kept getting declined, so we were forced to pay twice. While I understand there was an issue with the trip.com payment, this should be handled by the hotel and the booking service. Or they should have alerted me earlier during my stay and not while I was about to check out with a travel connection that was close to being missed. Instead of public transport I had to spend 25 euro on a taxi to get to the train station.

GGuest UserThe room was small but completely enough for a night. The check-in at the terminal was uncomplicated and from 17:00 a.m. someone is also available at the reception. Unfortunately, there is currently a building site that you can hear, but it was overall tolerable.
The walls are quite thin, so you can occasionally hear the neighbors. The nearness to the motorway or highway is only opened by a window.
The cleanliness was all right, but it shouldn't be better looked under the bed, and windows, mirrors were somewhat lubricant. The heating/air conditioning should also be washed once. The towels and bed linen also had light spots.
The breakfast offers a average choice but the price for it is rather high. Positively mentioned is the nice lady at the reception, which was very friendly.
Concluded: For one night and without high demands, the hotel is OK, but there are definitely ways of improving.

EEisbaer2405The hotel is very run-down; it's practically in a ”war zone,” with almost all the houses in the area empty or looking like they've been bombed. The hotel itself is located above a dollar store, which will probably go bankrupt by the time anyone reads this. There's a funeral home right next door, and a couple of kebab shops across the street. A Rewe supermarket isn't far away. The location is quite remote, but if you have a car, it's no problem. Parking costs an extra €5 but is unguarded. The hotel entrance is in the tunnel leading to the parking lot. The lobby looks quite nice, and the service is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is meager but good, with everything you need: rolls, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, etc. However, the coffee is extremely watered down, the hot chocolate is practically undrinkable, and three espressos are just one regular cup of coffee! The rooms are clean but very old-fashioned; the windows aren't airtight and have been patched up with tape (which did work, though); the shower has a rather high step, so if you have trouble climbing (especially getting out carefully!), showering is out of the question. However, the room was very quiet and I felt comfortable; I slept well.
