"First and foremost, I'd like to commend the exceptional friendliness of the staff throughout the entire hotel; it was truly wonderful. The room itself was acceptable. However, as we were traveling with a dog, the room's location wasn't ideal. It's perfectly understandable and a good policy to place guests with dogs on the ground floor in non-carpeted rooms. The main drawback was that a public footpath ran directly past our windows.
The windows could only be opened fully, not tilted. This meant that for both privacy/security and practical reasons, we couldn't leave them open overnight. As a result, the room became very warm. The pillows were incredibly firm and overstuffed, practically guaranteeing a stiff neck while sleeping. We even resorted to borrowing pillows from friends.
Despite these issues, which mean we won't be returning, I would certainly recommend this hotel for guests not traveling with a dog."

Zhangxiaowang19881. This stay experience is great! From the warm reception at the front desk to the clean and comfortable room, it is satisfactory. Breakfast is even more pleasant, rich in variety and great taste! The only small regret is that the parking fee is slightly higher, but the overall does not affect my five-star praise, come back next time!
2. Hotel service is too intimate! The rooms are warmly furnished and the facilities are all available. There are many choices for breakfast, both Chinese and Western, and the food is super satisfying. It is perfect if the parking fee can be more favorable, and it is generally recommended!
3. Must praise this hotel! The room was clean and tidy and comfortable. The breakfast ingredients are fresh, the cooking is delicious, and the food is super happy. Although the parking fee is a bit expensive, the service and environment can completely make up for it, it is worth coming again!

A very nice hotel, centrally located with great public transport connections. It was clean, and my room even had its own balcony. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was a little small but perfectly functional. The only minor improvement would be a mirror in the main room, but otherwise, it was fantastic. I'll definitely be back!

Pieter KooiLocation is excellent with walking distance from themain railway station in Dortmund. Another advantage is that the bus stop for the airport express, which is opposite the railway station on the left hand side is also only a five minute walk. The reception was very helpful and supportive. The room was clean nd quite. Wifi worked well. Behind the hotel are many shops and restaurants in about 10 minutes walk.

Anonymous UserEverything was great except the fact that you are supposed to tell 2 days ahead of your arrival that you will check-in. That's unusual when you booked your hotel in advance. Eventually I could reach them a day before my arrival and it was no problem to check-in ahead of time for an ”early-check in” fee.

The hotel is close to the BVB Dortmund Stadium, which was our main target the 2 nights of our stay in Dortmund. Good service and warm welcome. Simple but great breakfast.

We really enjoyed the stay. Self check in process is quite easy. A digital key is used to access the room, although this is our first time using a digital key, we found it quite handy. The room is large even for three people. The room is clean, neat, and tidy provided with a double bed and a single bed, a comfy sofa, a big table complete with water boiler, a nice selection of tea, coffee, sugar, and creamer. The check out process was also quite easy. Surely we will come back to the hotel when we visit Dortmund again.

While checking out this morning the manager at the hotel said the credit card Trip.com provided kept getting declined, so we were forced to pay twice. While I understand there was an issue with the trip.com payment, this should be handled by the hotel and the booking service. Or they should have alerted me earlier during my stay and not while I was about to check out with a travel connection that was close to being missed. Instead of public transport I had to spend 25 euro on a taxi to get to the train station.

emilylin223The room floor could use a better cleaning, and the mattress was a bit soft. For a two-night stay, it was good value for money. The front desk staff were very friendly. If you're a female traveler and prefer not to stay in a mixed-gender dorm, you can ask at check-in if a female-only room is available. Overall, it was a good experience.
