This time, there was a small problem when arranging for out-of-town guests to check in. The hotel staff followed up and responded promptly (according to the information provided by my friend afterwards, the room was close to the elevator, maybe the problem originated from this)
I will stay here again in the future, and hope the stay experience will be more stable.

GGuest UserRamada's service is beyond words. You are greeted at the door before you even enter the hotel. You really feel at home. Although the hotel is not big, it is very warm. It is very close to Beigu Mountain and within walking distance. It is also not far from other attractions. Far away, overall I was very happy about my trip to Zhenjiang.

SSheshengjiajiatuThe hotel is very close to the train station and the bus station, with convenient transportation. The hotel also has a small parking lot for easy parking. The hotel environment is nice, warm and comfortable. The front desk lady is enthusiastic and responsive. The room is cleaned in a timely manner, clean and tidy. A plate of fruit is served every day, which is thoughtful. The breakfast variety is quite rich and the taste is quite good. In fact, what I like most is the dry and wet separation in the bathroom. The shower is comfortable for bathing. The hotel is good and I will continue to choose to stay next time I come to Zhenjiang.

DDunnvshiThe hotel is located in the Xijindu Scenic Area, and it is not far from the west entrance. Next to it is Jingji Road, and the buildings and sycamore trees from the Republic of China period are very beautiful. The hotel is a few small buildings with a beautiful environment and good service. Before check-in, the housekeeper Xiaoqi contacted in advance and sent the hotel location map, travel guide, food recommendations and maps. During the stay, he kept in touch and gave tips and help. He was very warm and thoughtful. The hotel room is comfortable, the bedding is comfortable, and the hygiene is clean. There is tea, coffee, lemonade in the lobby, and the breakfast tastes good. The overall feeling is very good, five-star praise.

My stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.
HOWEVER, there is only one small problem.
When you book a room, please check very carefully if the room you are booking has a window or not. On the Trip.com site, it says; 'Has a window' 'Partially has a window' 'A fixed window' or something like this. Not only see some photos of the rooms on the website, but also carefully check if the room you are booking surely has a window or not.
When I checked-in, I was told that my room had NO window. It was O.K. if you were in your room only to sleep, because the room is large enough, clean enough and comfortable enough. Nothing is wrong with the room itself at all. However, I found on the following morning that I could not see how the weather was like until I actually went outside, because I could not see outside from the window.

GGuest UserThe price is really good for off-peak travel. From the moment we arrived, the hotel front desk provided us with meticulous service with a professional and enthusiastic attitude. Not only did they patiently select a comfortable room for us to ensure that we stayed at ease, but they also carefully introduced the beautiful scenery and characteristics around the hotel, which gave us a deeper understanding of Zhenjiang. In particular, the tourist route planned for us by Xiao Zhang at the front desk was so thoughtful! I was deeply impressed that she took the initiative to contact us when something accidentally fell in the lobby. Your enthusiasm and professionalism made us feel the warmth of home and made this trip more memorable. It is our luck to meet a front desk like you who serves with heart! I am very satisfied with this stay experience. There are many parking spaces, and there are places with popular snacks around. The room is also clean and tidy. The waiters I met are all warmly greeted. It is a happy and satisfying experience.

SShugangnianhuaWe visited Cui Mountain with our child, and this hotel was conveniently located nearby. We had initially booked a deluxe twin room, but the front desk staff were excellent and upgraded us to a family room free of charge. The hotel environment was quite pleasant, and the facilities were well-appointed. Our room featured Xiaodu voice control throughout, and the TV screen mirroring function was also very convenient. Our north-facing room offered a view of lush greenery. It was very quiet at night, and the room was well soundproofed, so we barely heard any other noises while sleeping. The bed had just the right firmness, ensuring a very comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was pretty standard; the selection wasn't extensive, but it was perfectly fine as long as we got enough to eat.

GGlenysMGreenTree Inn, Jurong (Jiangsu Province) is an oldie but a goody! I stayed there for 5 nights in late August/early September (2025). At first glance I was a bit dubious, but it turned out to be a really great place to stay. I felt very safe there and in the neighbourhood (day and night) and would stay there again.
Excellent customer service ..… the Reception and cleaning staff were all really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
The first room I was allocated smelt of cigarette smoke (no thank you!), but I was immediately moved into a nicer smelling room, which was absolutely spotless, quite large, and had a nice new smart tv, air con, an opening window with a flyscreen and security bars (essential for a ground floor room), nice solid furniture, pure white linen (impressively imprinted with “GreenTree Inn”) and a clean, comfy doona and pillows. A standard hard’ish Chinese bed, but I find them quite comfy.
The old carpet runner along the length of the long ground floor hallway (where my room was) is a relic from way back when, but it was clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the hotel that I could see.
The shower head needed fixing, but that’s an annoyingly common problem in pretty much every budget ＞ mid range hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in China.
The hotel is only about 20 metres from Jurong Chongming Subway Station. Local bus stop almost at the front door (& across the road). The entrance to the old cobbled road (no cars allowed) & all its little shops is across the road at the lights, and a large pharmacy at the entrance (near the “archway”). Electric scooters galore to hire (via the AliPay or WeChat apps) outside the subway. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance once you get past the trades shops (plumbing supplies etc).
My only gripe about GreenTree Inn Jurong (& this is a gripe I have for many hotels etc throughout China) is that smoking is allowed on the premises. I think it’s the worst it’s been since 2002 when I first started travelling to China. It’s awful walking into foyers and lifts that reek of cigarette smoke, and copping wafts of the smoke along hallways from smokers in their rooms (& ashtrays at lift entrances), and horrible arriving tired after a long flight and long trek from airports etc, only to discover you then have to request a room change to escape the smoke, and start all over again. No matter how accommodating the staff are, I could easily do without that hassle and the horrible smell.
In my opinion, hotels etc in China need to up their game where that’s concerned, and follow the lead of the many countries which have banned cigarette smoking in all public buildings (including hotels), all public indoor and outdoor spaces, anywhere near children and shopping centres, on and near public transport etc etc etc.
