I like this homestay so much, the environment is very good, the parking is convenient, and the room is spacious and bright. The food is delicious. The boss is very welcoming and the accommodation is very quiet. Saw the show. The boss bought the performance ticket, the location is good, recommended!

Guest UserThe hotel is quite new, room is clean and service is pretty good, every alternative day, there will be some complementary snack given to you at the counter. Whole in lobby waiting, the staff will offer you chinese tea to drink. Very attentive to anything happens in the room and will fix the problem as soon as possible. The con is food is limited in varieties daily, I would propose to get a fresh coffee grind machine, didn't like the instant coffee mix machine. Secondly, if your room is facing the main road, it can awfully get noisy.

Extremely satisfied! The landlady is incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. She picked me up promptly, ensuring no delays, truly 100% service. Her food is absolutely delicious. Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a better room and even received a Chairman Mao badge, which was a nice touch given the context. It was a truly memorable experience, and I'll definitely come back if I have the chance. I didn't get to see a performance this time, as they only start after the Chinese New Year in the first ***** month.

Guest UserFive-star praise!
I booked it on behalf of my parents.
The proprietress picked up and picked up at the high-speed rail station, warm and thoughtful.
I also ate Chairman Mao’s favorite braised pork at the hotel. I booked a performance ticket for us. “The most remembered Lushan Chong” and picked up the elderly to watch the performance. The experience was very good. If you have a trip to Lushan, you will set their home. It is very close to Chairman Mao’s former residence and the bronze statue square!

Stayed in a room in the main building. The hotel is in a good location, close to South Railway Station and not far from Shaoshan. The hotel facilities are good and the layout is very charming. The waiters were all friendly and the service was attentive. What impressed me most was the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of Manager Li Xiu.
The food in the restaurant is delicious and the prices are relatively affordable, especially the restaurant on the second floor. The hotel is equipped with a swimming pool, which can satisfy those who like swimming and stay near Shaoshan. There is a gift shop downstairs for convenient shopping.
The disadvantage is that the hotel does not have a washing machine, which is still a traditional hotel practice. There are also no laundry bags for dirty clothes, but rudimentary plastic bags are provided.

Guest UserThe couple running this renovated traditional home in Mao's home village are very attentive to guests' needs, even on the busiest day of the year, December 26th, Chairman Mao's birthday. My partner was coming down with a cold and got some ginger soup to drink. Additionally, when we screwed up our schedule and almost couldn't make our train out of Shaoshan, with no train available to reschedule, the couple arranged for the husband to drive us to the station for little more than gas money. It's up a slight hill from the other inns and allows one to get a bit of peace and quiet, again, even on the busiest day of the year, when Shaoshan is very worth a visit for anyone interested in Mao Zedong's legacy, given the number of Chinese people who show up to sing, dance, wave various flags and give speeches. Don't make our mistake and schedule the Chairman Mao memorial hall for a full visit instead of rushing though it. The exhibit is full of pictures and dioramas and has English captions for most things.
I also wish we'd had time to explore the pagoda on the hill behind the guesthouse.

Guest UserAt 3:19 PM on May 22, 2026, having just finished the first round of negotiations with my partner, I dragged my 24-inch suitcase, covered in airline baggage tags, into the pre-booked business hotel. The lobby had gleaming light gray marble countertops, and a faint scent of white tea filled the air. Check-in was efficient; I received my room key in less than three minutes by swiping my ID. Upon entering the room, the first thing that caught my eye was a floor-to-ceiling window offering a panoramic view of the city's central business district. Beige desks and chairs were placed by the window, with a notebook bearing the hotel logo and a retractable pen already laid out on the desk. A built-in charging port for laptops was conveniently located under the built-in desk. A smart panel by the bedside allowed for one-touch adjustment of lighting and curtains. The bathroom featured a well-designed wet and dry separation; a disposable shaving kit and mouthwash were provided alongside the customized toiletries. The overall environment was clean and practical, perfectly suited to my work needs for the next three days of my business trip.

Guest UserThe owners of this place are the nicest people ever! Even though we did not ask, they gave us a ride to and from the train station as well as to Chairman Mao's former residence. The location is great, it would not have been a long walk but the ride made our visit even smoother. The hosts gave us Chairman Mao pins for free and made us delicious breakfast for a really cheap price. They truly are such nice people! They don't speak much English but I'm sure you would manage just fine with a translator app. The room was a great fit for us, two couples travelling together, and it had everything we needed. We only stayed for one night since there is not a whole lot to see in this town but we would have loved to stay for longer just because the hosts were so nice. I would definitely recommend this place! 谢谢你们对我们的悉心照顾!

Guest UserThis is probably the cleanest and most upscale hotel in Xiangtan's city center. I had to switch rooms from Huatian in the middle of the night to come here. However, since the rooms were renovated in 2018, there are still issues like dirty windows on the outside and peeling paint from a leaky roof.
