I like this homestay so much, the environment is very good, the parking is convenient, and the room is spacious and bright. The food is delicious. The boss is very welcoming and the accommodation is very quiet. Saw the show. The boss bought the performance ticket, the location is good, recommended!

The inn is very close to the Bronze Statue Square, which can be reached in a few minutes. If you have enough time, you can go to the Bronze Statue Square once in the morning and once in the evening. The experience is different. There are many people during the day, and it is solemn and ceremonial. There are relatively fewer people at night. Under the light, the leader's radiant image is more reflected. You can order food at the inn. The proprietress cooks very homely and delicious dishes. She also thoughtfully arranges a pick-up station. There is also a small pavilion and a swing at the door, which is very warm and a good choice.

Extremely satisfied! The landlady is incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. She picked me up promptly, ensuring no delays, truly 100% service. Her food is absolutely delicious. Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a better room and even received a Chairman Mao badge, which was a nice touch given the context. It was a truly memorable experience, and I'll definitely come back if I have the chance. I didn't get to see a performance this time, as they only start after the Chinese New Year in the first ***** month.

The room size was just right, and the bed was huge. The pillows were incredibly comfortable to sleep on. Right next to the hotel is a very large parking lot with charging stations for electric vehicles, offering both fast and slow charging, which was really convenient. There were plenty of parking spaces too. The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, and the hotel's cleanliness was absolutely top-notch, exceptionally clean. The staff were also very enthusiastic and provided excellent service. Highly recommend!

The hotel is quite new, room is clean and service is pretty good, every alternative day, there will be some complementary snack given to you at the counter. Whole in lobby waiting, the staff will offer you chinese tea to drink. Very attentive to anything happens in the room and will fix the problem as soon as possible. The con is food is limited in varieties daily, I would propose to get a fresh coffee grind machine, didn't like the instant coffee mix machine. Secondly, if your room is facing the main road, it can awfully get noisy.

I seldom share my experiences in Chinese hotels. That is a mistake. China’s hotels are among the world’s most comfortable and reasonably priced.  I am now in the home of chairman Mao and staying at the very comfortable Jianguo hotel. After arriving in  Shaoshan  (over 38 years since my last visit), I have been overwhelmed by the friendliness of the local people and the staff at the Jianguo hotel.  In what may be called one of the more politically important destinations in China, I have found open arms and smiles. My American friends can learn something from this. I am clearly not a local but, even during this time of geopolitical tension, I am receiving nothing less than genuine  friendship, no animosity, and this makes me feel optimistic. I hope that we in the United States can learn from the Chinese people’s example. Thank you, everybody at the Jianguo Hotel. including Liu Zheng who personally took me to Chairman Mao’s residence this morning.  He offered to do this while eating dinner in the hotel restaurant last night (please try the 香椿拌豆腐). He introduced me to the park’s director and facilitated everything to make this visit so special. Liu Jingli just treated me to lunch and is driving  me to the train station. This kind of service I’ve never received before in my hundred plus countries and I think that it is important that we share these stories with the outside world. This hospitality, too, is an essential part of China. (I would argue it is even more real than the news stories we receive out of Washington DC.) Chairman Mao’s home will forever echo with not just memories of the past but optimism of a more respectful and inclusive future.

The owners of this place are the nicest people ever! Even though we did not ask, they gave us a ride to and from the train station as well as to Chairman Mao's former residence. The location is great, it would not have been a long walk but the ride made our visit even smoother. The hosts gave us Chairman Mao pins for free and made us delicious breakfast for a really cheap price. They truly are such nice people! They don't speak much English but I'm sure you would manage just fine with a translator app. The room was a great fit for us, two couples travelling together, and it had everything we needed. We only stayed for one night since there is not a whole lot to see in this town but we would have loved to stay for longer just because the hosts were so nice. I would definitely recommend this place! 谢谢你们对我们的悉心照顾!

At 3:19 PM on May 22, 2026, having just finished the first round of negotiations with my partner, I dragged my 24-inch suitcase, covered in airline baggage tags, into the pre-booked business hotel. The lobby had gleaming light gray marble countertops, and a faint scent of white tea filled the air. Check-in was efficient; I received my room key in less than three minutes by swiping my ID. Upon entering the room, the first thing that caught my eye was a floor-to-ceiling window offering a panoramic view of the city's central business district. Beige desks and chairs were placed by the window, with a notebook bearing the hotel logo and a retractable pen already laid out on the desk. A built-in charging port for laptops was conveniently located under the built-in desk. A smart panel by the bedside allowed for one-touch adjustment of lighting and curtains. The bathroom featured a well-designed wet and dry separation; a disposable shaving kit and mouthwash were provided alongside the customized toiletries. The overall environment was clean and practical, perfectly suited to my work needs for the next three days of my business trip.

The front desk service attitude is particularly gentle and patient, the whole process of communication is smooth and meticulous, any questions will be answered seriously, will not be perfunctory, especially people feel comfortable and practical. The hotel is strategically located in the center of the pedestrian street, it is very convenient to travel, eat, drink and play. The hotel room was very clean and it was changed for each guest. Although the hotel is in the center of the pedestrian street, but fortunately there is no nightlife, so it will not be too noisy at night, the living is very comfortable, sleep very at ease, it is recommended.
