GGuest UserChoosing this hotel for our drive to Chaka was such a smart decision! It's less than a 10-minute drive from the scenic area, and parking is incredibly convenient, even offering charging stations, which is a huge plus for electric car owners like us. This hotel is one of the best in town, and the facilities are very well-maintained. The in-room oxygen supply and adjustable air conditioning were lifesavers – we slept perfectly on the plateau without feeling stuffy. It even snowed on the mountains last night, and the view from our room was stunning. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with anti-slip mats, showing excellent attention to detail! The breakfast selection was extensive. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Chaka!

GGuest UserThe room is clean and has a unique design. It has tatami mats, a projection, and a tea table. The two children sat at the tea table and drank tea.
It is very convenient to eat in front of the hotel and very close to Chaka Salt Lake Scenic Area.
Friends who bring their children to Chaka Salt Lake must bring waterproof overalls for their children. The waterproof shoes rented in the scenic area are of no use to active children. Two children also got wet wearing waterproof shoes. .

GGuest UserWe arrived at Chaka Salt Lake on the first day of our trip to Qinghai. I looked at many hotels online and saw that their reviews were very high, so I placed an order directly. The front desk was very enthusiastic, the room was clean and hygienic, but I forgot to take a photo of the room and uploaded it. The breakfast was very rich and had everything. The children were very happy eating it. This hotel is worth recommending and I give it a five-star rating!

GGuest UserFriends who come to Chaka Salt Lake can come to this homestay at night. It feels very good to stay for one night. They have a pick-up service (the boss will also pick up the scenic spot). The scenic spot is about 10 minutes drive from the hotel. It is relatively close. The next day I will go to Qinghai Lake. The boss helped recommend the bus driver's contact. Way, the homestay walks to the bus station for about a few minutes. In the evening, the boss will organize everyone to see the stars ✨, and be sure to wear more nights that are super cold. The boss is super good. The equipment for free oxygen inhalation is provided for breathing difficulties at night. The best night to sleep in the northwest is the best. I wish you a pleasant trip and wish the boss a prosperous business. 🧨

AAnonymous UserHygiene: When the room is vacant, the window is open, so there will be dust in the room. There were dead mosquitoes on my bed sheet (I cleaned it myself). People with strong cleanliness obsession should consider it carefully;
Environment: The view is pretty good. The grassland room type is in the first row, with no obstruction in front, and you can directly see the grassland and salt lake (but it is still a certain distance from the lake, not directly by the lake), but people who like the view can still consider it;
Starry sky at night: It depends entirely on the weather. I couldn't see a single star that night, only clouds and the moon.
Facilities: There is a projector (but you have to adjust the focus yourself and log in with a platform membership account, otherwise you can't see anything); the toilet is relatively small (no door, only a cloth), and the shower room is a separate wet area, which is okay, with stable water flow and temperature.
Parking: You can park directly in front of the hotel;
Others: The front desk is a bar, the atmosphere is good at night, but there is no experience.
Nearby: Some restaurants are within a 10-minute walk, which is quite convenient.

GGuest UserThe location is super close to Chaka Salt Lake. The young lady was very welcoming; I asked her to show us the rooms first, and she patiently guided us. I saw the rooms were really nice and clean, so we decided to stay.
The price was excellent, and I was so happy with the environment – clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was also very good, and every staff member was enthusiastic. They refilled the breakfast promptly; it was delicious and very convenient. If you're visiting Chaka Salt Lake, definitely stay here – the price is just right. It was also a very comfortable stay, and the food was good too.
I didn't take any photos of the hotel, but the environment is exactly as they advertised.

GGuest UserI couldn't be happier with my choice of Chaka Jundao Hotel for this trip to Chaka Salt Lake! The hotel's location is fantastic, very close to the salt lake scenic area, making travel very convenient. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, and you can even visit the lively night market in the evening. The room was cozy, the bed was large and soft, and I slept soundly. The room was also spotlessly clean, and the basic amenities were complete.

AAnonymous UserWe arrived at the hotel after 10:00 PM, the only accommodation within the scenic area. We initially booked an inn, but later saw there was another hotel within the scenic area, so we switched. Only upon arrival did we realize the hotel was outside the scenic area and that nighttime access was prohibited, so we switched again. If you, like me, want to photograph the stars within the scenic area, then don't bother; the inn is the only option.
Environment: The second floor of the small commercial building in the scenic area was converted from a shop. Downstairs is a shop, and beyond that is the scenic area. It can be a bit noisy in the mornings after the area opens. Dining is at the scenic area shop, so of course, the prices are scenic area prices.
Facilities: The room is large, but rather basic. If you're just sleeping, it's passable, but the bathroom is a bit of a bummer.
Service: The inn attendant was quite helpful. After booking a room, we immediately called to provide directions, added WeChat to get our location, and waited at the entrance with parking instructions. But don't expect any help with luggage. Other information: The scenic area is located east of Chaka, making it a good place to watch the sunset. It's a dark area, so theoretically, you could see the Milky Way. However, if it's your first time, especially if you're not in the scenic area during the day, finding a good spot at night can be quite challenging. Some streetlights are still on, and the lights from the commercial area and the distant Chaka Town create some light pollution. Also, the scenic area is less crowded in the morning, so you shouldn't have to compete with other tourists for a photo spot before 10:00.
We spent too much time in Chaka and couldn't reach Chaka No. 1 before sunset. Having never been to this scenic area before, the darkness and cold wind made this a disappointing decision. Although we managed to capture the Milky Way before moonrise, the view wasn't ideal.
