It went off every 10 minutes, for 5 minutes each time, in a very rhythmic, grating sound. I didn't sleep a wink all night. Just my personal opinion, hotels and guesthouses are places to rest. A lower price and slightly less luxurious facilities are fine, as long as you can get a good rest. I hope the landlady can be more sincere in treating customers in the future. Even if it's just an upgrade to a quieter room, it's important to provide a good resting space for travelers.
