THE place to stay in Shaoshan. I felt like I was at home, tucked into a quiet wooded corner of town. They helped me organize my short stay, drove me around, and cooked up an excellent breakfast. They were great company and my only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer. (The room was perfect; the pictures speak for themselves.)

The room was very clean, and the air was exceptionally fresh, making for a pleasant morning run. The landlady kindly picked us up from the station, which was very convenient. It's best to drive here, as it's about a 15-minute walk to Chairman Mao's former residence. We found it very pleasant to walk in spring, but for those who don't want to walk, taking a taxi isn't very convenient. The atmosphere in the scenic area is wonderful, and the water is all spring water. Next time I come, I'll definitely go hiking and stay for a few more days.

Under the light, the leader's radiant image is more reflected. You can order food at the inn. The proprietress cooks very homely and delicious dishes. She also thoughtfully arranges a pick-up station. There is also a small pavilion and a swing at the door, which is very warm and a good choice.

Great family-run hotel, they made me feel so welcome and helped sort out for me a trip to the outdoor theatre show, transport there and seeing all the historical sites to see there, all within walking distance. The serve really good food there whenever you want it! The family was really friendly and I got on really well with them and when I left the father drove me to the train station and the whole family jumped in to join me for the ride!

This is a very typical rural B&B, with a restaurant on the first floor and guest rooms on the second and third floors. The B&B is located in a village at the entrance of the scenic spot. Parking is allowed and pets are allowed. It is about 500 meters away from the former residence of the elders and the Bronze Statue Square. The owner's service is warm and the room is clean. The facilities are simple and outdated. The bathroom did not provide bath towels and there was no shower. The bedding may be too basic and make a twitching sound when you turn over. In Shaoshan in March, the temperature at night was very low, so I needed to turn on the air conditioner, but the sound from the outdoor air conditioner was loud, like a tractor. When I turned off the air conditioner, the same sound came from the outdoor air conditioners in other rooms, and the quilt was a little thin. Great choice for light sleepers. It’s okay to just pass by on a self-driving tour and stay overnight.

The experience of Desheng Hotel in Lushan is great! The garden-style environment is elegant, the room is clean and comfortable, and the service is warm and thoughtful. Special praise to the two staff members, Mao Yuxuan and Xu Zhongyu, who are enthusiastic, patient and meticulous throughout the whole process, take the initiative to help with luggage, intimate guidance, responsive, people feel more cordial, and really feel the warmth of being at home. The navigation guided us to a small road that is not easy to walk on. The boss made a video call to teach us how to get there. He was very considerate. The hotel has a large parking lot, which is very convenient. The food is generous in size and the price is very reasonable in the scenic area. It tastes great. I wish the boss a prosperous business, abundant financial resources and everything goes well. By the way, the show is also good, and the ticket price is also very good if you buy it from the boss.
