"Stayed in a room in the main building. The hotel is in a good location, close to South Railway Station and not far from Shaoshan. The hotel facilities are good and the layout is very charming. The waiters were all friendly and the service was attentive. What impressed me most was the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of Manager Li Xiu.
The food in the restaurant is delicious and the prices are relatively affordable, especially the restaurant on the second floor. The hotel is equipped with a swimming pool, which can satisfy those who like swimming and stay near Shaoshan. There is a gift shop downstairs for convenient shopping.
The disadvantage is that the hotel does not have a washing machine, which is still a traditional hotel practice. There are also no laundry bags for dirty clothes, but rudimentary plastic bags are provided."

"The location of the B&B is very good. It is a single-family house and very quiet. Since it is in a scenic area, I am worried that it will be inconvenient to travel. The housekeeper picked me up and dropped me off throughout the trip. It was perfect. I will go there again next time."

The hotel restaurant is more affordable, and the classic braised pork and pepper fish head are all must-order.
If you are traveling by car, the front desk will make an appointment to enter the scenic spot pass, and the vehicle can drive directly to the hotel.

"Vienna International Hotel is my first choice for traveling. This time, my husband and I went to Guangxi for a trip. We made a special trip to Shaoshan to visit Chairman Mao's former residence and settled in this hotel. The hotel has a superior geographical location, very close to Chairman Mao's former residence, and there are food streets around. The front desk girl's service is very enthusiastic and in place. She also upgraded the room. You can watch the short video. The room facilities are complete, clean and tidy, the mattress is very comfortable, the sound insulation effect is good, especially the hot water is very large. "As a history enthusiast, I took my mother to Shaoshan for the New Year's holiday, and it was truly a wonderful place! I found it very interesting and learned more about Chairman Mao's life. The hotel we stayed at was excellent—very clean and satisfactory, just as I've always been impressed with Lavande Hotels. The price was also very reasonable. The receptionist, Ms. Banxia, was very warm and attentive, and the driver was also very kind. Excellent service—a must-try! I definitely want to visit Shaoshan again. I hadn't done any research and missed some of the important attractions. Next time I'm more familiar with the area, I'll definitely book this hotel again! "It's very close to the former residence, only a few minutes' drive away. It's very convenient. The one-stop service for food, accommodation and travel was perfect for us. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food was also good. The owner's father killed a free-range chicken freshly, and we even went to the vegetable garden to pick vegetables. There were nine of us in our group, and we specially asked the owner's wife to be our guide. The explanation was very detailed and we learned a lot! Thanks to the owner and his family. GGuest UserAfter looking at several guesthouses, we chose this one. The owner, Weiwei, and the staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive, taking great care of the elderly. They helped arrange everything, from travel plans to sightseeing. The elderly had a wonderful time in Shaoshan and were very comfortable and satisfied with their stay. The food was delicious, local farm-style cuisine, and we ate all three meals there.
We'll definitely choose this place again next time we travel to Shaoshan!

GGuest UserThis time I went to Lushan and chose this homestay. From the moment the reservation was successful, I felt full of sincerity. The boss was very careful, called me in advance to register the information, and patiently explained other matters, which made people feel particularly at ease.
What surprised me the most was the high-speed rail station pick-up service! The boss personally went to the high-speed rail pick-up station, chatted with us enthusiastically along the way, and sent us to the high-speed rail station when he came back. This kind of intimate service really makes people so happy!
The room was clean and tidy, and the details were all attentive. The bedding is soft and comfortable, the windows are large, the ventilation effect is very good, and the sleep is particularly quiet at night. The bathroom also has no smell and the cleaning is very meticulous.
We ate twice at his house, the food was authentic and delicious, all local specialties, let us outsiders taste the authentic Lushan flavor.

GGuest UserThis is a very typical rural B&B, with a restaurant on the first floor and guest rooms on the second and third floors. The B&B is located in a village at the entrance of the scenic spot. Parking is allowed and pets are allowed. It is about 500 meters away from the former residence of the elders and the Bronze Statue Square. The owner's service is warm and the room is clean. The facilities are simple and outdated. The bathroom did not provide bath towels and there was no shower. The bedding may be too basic and make a twitching sound when you turn over. In Shaoshan in March, the temperature at night was very low, so I needed to turn on the air conditioner, but the sound from the outdoor air conditioner was loud, like a tractor. When I turned off the air conditioner, the same sound came from the outdoor air conditioners in other rooms, and the quilt was a little thin. Great choice for light sleepers. It’s okay to just pass by on a self-driving tour and stay overnight.

JJing_9C1N0W2UThe hotel environment was comfortable. Our room type was quite a walk, located at the end of the corridor, where I could see a fountain. The room itself was spacious, but the carpet was a bit dirty. Parking was tight; it was a hit or miss situation. Breakfast offered fruit salad, mini wontons, bacon, and boiled eggs, but only one of the two breakfast display areas was set up, perhaps because it was too early and the kitchen wasn't fully prepared yet. If you order takeout, it's only delivered to the designated takeout area at the entrance, and there are no robots for delivery.

GGuest UserThe owners of this place are the nicest people ever! Even though we did not ask, they gave us a ride to and from the train station as well as to Chairman Mao's former residence. The location is great, it would not have been a long walk but the ride made our visit even smoother. The hosts gave us Chairman Mao pins for free and made us delicious breakfast for a really cheap price. They truly are such nice people! They don't speak much English but I'm sure you would manage just fine with a translator app. The room was a great fit for us, two couples travelling together, and it had everything we needed. We only stayed for one night since there is not a whole lot to see in this town but we would have loved to stay for longer just because the hosts were so nice. I would definitely recommend this place! 谢谢你们对我们的悉心照顾!

I booked it on behalf of my parents.
The proprietress picked up and picked up at the high-speed rail station, warm and thoughtful.
I also ate Chairman Mao’s favorite braised pork at the hotel. I booked a performance ticket for us. “The most remembered Lushan Chong” and picked up the elderly to watch the performance. The experience was very good. If you have a trip to Lushan, you will set their home. It is very close to Chairman Mao’s former residence and the bronze statue square!

GGuest UserThe couple running this renovated traditional home in Mao's home village are very attentive to guests' needs, even on the busiest day of the year, December 26th, Chairman Mao's birthday. My partner was coming down with a cold and got some ginger soup to drink. Additionally, when we screwed up our schedule and almost couldn't make our train out of Shaoshan, with no train available to reschedule, the couple arranged for the husband to drive us to the station for little more than gas money. It's up a slight hill from the other inns and allows one to get a bit of peace and quiet, again, even on the busiest day of the year, when Shaoshan is very worth a visit for anyone interested in Mao Zedong's legacy, given the number of Chinese people who show up to sing, dance, wave various flags and give speeches. Don't make our mistake and schedule the Chairman Mao memorial hall for a full visit instead of rushing though it. The exhibit is full of pictures and dioramas and has English captions for most things.
I also wish we'd had time to explore the pagoda on the hill behind the guesthouse.

The facilities in the room are very new, air conditioning, hot water, network are easy to use, comfortable and convenient to live. The hotel environment is quiet and tidy, the lighting is good, and the stay is very comfortable. The service attitude is particularly good, the front desk is warm and thoughtful, and the problems are solved in time. The sanitation is very clean, the bedding and bathroom are refreshing, and you can live with peace of mind. Downstairs is the pedestrian street, and travel is very convenient! The overall experience is superb, I will choose this one next time!
